Fashion Police: Michelle Williams

I love Michelle Williams. Really, I do. Loved her on Dawson's Creek. Love her as the brownstown-dwelling, NYC-living mom to almost-1-year-old Matilda. But I just don't love this outfit. Sure, she's cute and happy and sunny even. But the outfit? Not so much. I don't mind the skirt length and the skinny black tight legs. But wait, it's not a skirt. She's wearing it as a dress, and I do believe that's where the problem is. Now picture it as if she wore it as a skirt and then had a shiny black blouse with it. Cool, yes? This? No. She wore it yesterday to the New York City's Whitney Museum gala celebrating Pablo Picasso's work.
