Renee and Kenny Redux

Hollywood.com reports that Renee Zellweger opened up about her failed marriage to Kenny Chesney when speaking to a British magazine. If you don't remember it because it was so darn short, Zellweger and Chesney were married for 128 days in 2005. In the interview, Renee calls her relationship "the biggest personal mistake of my life" and said that she felt like a fool:

"I was looking for something else. I just needed to put acting aside. I needed to sit still and not to worry about the dresses and the hair and the travel and the interviews.

"I was going through huge life changes at the time. I wanted to stop and be a girl for a while. My marriage came during this time and it was desperately important to me. I don't want anyone to think I didn't take it seriously."

Looks like Kenny was a jerk though. He got bitchy about her friends being a part of her life and objected to a friend staying with them: "There was no acceptance of my life or my friends. My friend was pregnant, with her husband and young kid. She was doing up her house for the new baby."

That's funny because I was sure she was going to say they broke up because he doesn't like girls. I am keeping my eye out for that story!
