What Would Shakira Look Like If She Weighed 6 Tons?

Apparently, Shakira's fans wanted to know because they created a 6 ton statue of her in the South American town of Barranquilla, Colombia. She played a benefit concert in Barranquilla, which is her home town, to benefit a arts school for children. This will be the sixth school that Shakira has funded in an effort to educate children that were displaced by Colombia's civil war.

The statue is 15 feet tall and was donated and made by a German fan, sculptor Dieter Patt. In response to the statue, Shakira made these sexual references to explain her appreciation:

"Barranquilla is the big breast that fed and nurtured me as a human being, a woman and an artist," said the performer, who dominated the Latin Grammy Awards ceremony Nov. 2 in New York - where she walked away with five awards.
