American Pie Star Turns Herself In

It's sad when you have to refer to a movie from 1999 to identify a star who is turning herself into authorities. Sigh. American Pie actress Natasha Lyonne turned herself in at a New York City court today.

There has been an outstanding warrant for Lyonne since January, when she missed four hearings. The charges against her include criminal mischief, harassment and trespassing. In fact, People reports that "[a]mong the more bizarre details of her case, she was accused of threatening to sexually molest a former neighbor's dog during a 2004 argument." Icky.

During a hearing, Lyonne's counselor stated that she entered a drug program and was attending rehabh groups. The judge said he'd let her off the hook if she stays out of trouble for six months. Pretty merciful if you ask me. He must be infected by the Christmas spirit.
