NHL Great Bob Gainey's Daughter Swept Overboard

Fox News reports that hockey Hall of Famer Bob Gainey's daughter was swept of a ship near Nova Scotia during a storm in the Atlantic. The Coast Guard is searching for her now. Gainey is also the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens.

His daughter, Laura Gainey, 25, "was washed off a deck at the back of the vessel by a large wave Friday night." The Coast Guard is searching a 475-mile area east-southeast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts using vessels and aircraft. As of noon today, she had been in the water without a lifejacket for 33 hours. However, the water is warm, so hypothermia shouldn't set in until 36 hours have passed.
