Another Celebrity Wedding
Although we are literally knee-deep in celebrity gossip, eating, breathing, sleeping it every waking minute of the day, every once in awhile, there's a celebrity wedding and Madison and I will look at each other, scratch our heads and go, "Who?" Such is the case with this one. People Magazine is covering it, so they must be celebs, but they're new to us.
Soccer star Landon Donovan (who has been to the World Cup twice) married actress Bianca Kajlich on New Year's Eve at the Bacara Resort in California. Bianca stars on the comedy, Rules of Engagement, and has also appeared on Dawson's Creek and Boston Public (both shows I watched religiously, but I don't remember her).
Their wedding included In-N-Out Burgers and karaoke for everyone, reminiscient of a certain Britney Spears wedding, I may add. Bianca told People Magazine, "Words couldn't possibly do the night justice. It really is best remembered in our hearts."

I was married at Bacara the night before Bianca and Donovan. It was beautiful and I (not being so all about myself) was glowing for all to see when I was driven through the premises to the oceanside Miro Terrace to the ceremony. The next evening a few (5)of us from my wedding party sat below our suite, which was where Bianca's suite was, awaiting her special drive to her ceremony, with an appreciative and mutual spirit. Unfortunately, we appeared to be hostile observers. We were questioned regarding our presence and identity, and Bianca hid her face from us as if we were possible camera wielding tabloid terrorists.
No one even knew who she was....although we all knew who Landon Donovan was. My point.....
you are just not all that, and joy and happiness feels so much better when displayed, shared, and not hidden.
Best wishes Mrs. Landon Donovan.
Anonymous, unless you can get the fabulous employees of Bacara to disclose my identity!
Almost two years later and still most of the world does not know this nice guy who just outdid Beckham last wkend.
Are you glad you got married during the recession?
Sounds like you were bitter at the time you wrote the above.
Just to give you and your pals something to chuckle about, Donovan's mother's maiden name was, I swear:
Donna Kenneycunt-Cash.
