Celine is Hightailing it Out of Vegas

Watch out Celine Dion fans. Time to get the tissue ready. If you haven't made the pilgrammage to Las Vegas to see Celine Dion's show at Caesar's Palace, called A New Day, then you need to hurry up. E! Online reports that the show will end December 15, 2007. The news was announced by the show's producers.

Celine has spent the last five (yes, five) years doing the show in front of 4,000 people in a hall created just for her. Here's what she had to say:

"The fans have been so supportive of us, and I want to thank them for taking this journey with me," Dion, who was forced to cancel five dates in December while she battled a respiratory infection, said in a statement. "When I began this adventure four years ago, I had no idea how magical this experience truly would be. As we prepare ourselves to say goodbye, I know this will be the best year yet."

But don't fret. If Vegas isn't your thing, you can see the show from the comfort of your own home, since it will be filmed on January 17-21 for a TV special and DVD.
