Checking In With Survivor Alum, Jerri Manthey
Jerri Manthey was a popular contestant to come out of CBS' second season of the reality show, Survivor. What's she been up to since then? Well, she performs a fire-spinning/singing act with a blues improv band at a club in Santa Monica every Wednesday night. Certainly not the direction I thought she'd go in.
She has also done some acting, even receiving the Lead Actress prize in July at the Action on Film festival for her role in an indie short flick, Widowmaker. Starting this month, she's taking a 30-week culinary course at Hollywood's Kitchen Academy to pursue her desire to becoming a personal chef. She already has a stuffed-mushroom recipe that "has made every ex-boyfriend still call me! I have to use that power wisely!"
She's not dating anyone right now, but you can keep up with her on her own blog as well.
