Ryan O'Neal Needs to Grow Up

Actor Ryan O'Neal was arrested yesterday morning at his Malibu home on assault and firearms charges after a fight with his 42-year-old son, Griffin. Ridiculous.

Police were called to Ryan's home at 12:30 am on Saturday, after receiving word of "suspected battery." Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. John Benedict said, "Deputies determined that Mr. Griffin O'Neal was assaulted by his father during a family dispute.

Ryan was booked at the Malibu-Lost Hills sheriff's station on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm. He was released at 5:30 a.m. Sunday after posting $50,000 bond.
