Cover Boy: Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake is getting some negative feedback for once. He gave an interview to GQ magazine that makes him sound like a cocky ass, to be blunt about it. Us Weekly shares some of the best excerpts:
On his Black Snake Moan sex scene with Christina Ricci:
"The sex scene was pretty hot. I'm not going to say it doesn't feel weird pretending to f--k someone in front of a man with a sound boom, though. One of the first conversations I had with the director was about nudity. In the first cut you can see my a-s but, thankfully, that's out now."
On his recent wins at The Brit Awards and the Grammys:
"Well, listen, I used to care about those awards and trophies…maybe when I was younger. Come on, it's all just a load of bullshit, right?"
On performing at the Grammys:
"I view the Grammys the same way I see my deal with McDonald's. I regret the McDonald’s deal. I don't regret doing the Grammys entirely but I wish I hadn't put so much of myself into it. It's kind of interesting. Just like the McDonald's deal, whose market share went up 25 percent when I walked into those offices and changed their image; when I did the Grammys, their viewing figures went up by 25 percent. Hmm, funny isn't it?"
On being afraid of being overrun by fans during his interview:
"Do you mind if we sit inside? I’m brave, but not quite brave enough to sit right on Sunset Boulevard."
On his break-up with Cameron Diaz:
"Listen, breaking up, it’s hard to do . . . It's hard for me to talk about because we're talking about the person that I love and respect and I would never . . . if I hear anyone say anything bad about Cameron then I’ll have something to say to them. Got it?"
On acting:
"I would like to think that will take over, begin to become more a part of my professional life."
