It's Official: Tori Spelling is a New Mommy

Actress Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, have welcomed a new little man into their lives. Liam Aaron McDermott was born yesterday, weighing in at 6 lbs, 6 oz. In a happy chapter to her last few years of family turmoil, it seems the new baby has brought Tori and her mom's relationship a little closer. They have been estranged since Tori divorced her first husband, and the relationship only worsened after Aaron Spelling's death last year.

Tori's mom, Candy Spelling, was at the hospital yesterday, and told People magazine, "Words can't describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event. I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it."

The couple will soon be hitting the small screen, with their new Oxygen reality show, Inn Love, detailing the opening of their new B&B, Chateau La Rue, in California.

Tori and Candy Are Hugging it Out

People reports that Tori Spelling and her mom Candy are working on fixing their relationship. The two have been estranged for quite a while, but it looks like the future Baby McDermott might have helped patch things up.

People's source is Tori's brother Randy who said: "My sister and my mom have been communicating for the past few weeks." He also said they are planning on meeting in person soon: "They are going to be there for each other and [Tori's soon-to-arrive] baby. My mom is having a grandchild, and it puts things into perspective."

During her appearance today on Good Morning America, Tori also mentioned her hope that she and her mother would reconcile.

A Baby Shower for Tori Spelling

Former Beverly Hills 90210 actress Tori Spelling had her baby shower this weekend at West Hollywood's Elixir Tonic and Tea. Her husband, Dean McDermott, was there as well, along with 50 guests, including Tori's former co-star Jennie Garth and actress Loni Anderson. Tori's mom, Candy Spelling, was not there. The party was sponsored by Tupperware.

"I've loved being pregnant, but I'm ready to give birth," Spelling told People magazine at the party. "I can't wait to be a mom and hold this little baby in my arms."

The party was blue-themed and planned by Jo Gartin of Love Luck and Angels. "They wanted the party colors to mimic their baby's turquoise blue and chocolate brown nursery," said Gartin. The menu was presented on blue Etch-a-Sketch trays and featured childhood favorites like grilled cheese sandwiches, tuna melts, miniature corn dogs and pigs in a blanket, and even an all-blue dessert menu that included blueberry popsicles.

The baby shower was also filmed for Tori's new Oxygen reality show Tori & Dean: Inn Love. Guests left with a gift bag produced by The Silver Spoon, which included items like Too Faced Lip Injection, a $600 pearl bracelet from pearlparadise.com and an InphantElefant baby blanket.

Tori Spelling Goes Christmas Tree Shopping

... yeah, so far it's a slow gossip day. Can you tell? Five-months-pregnant Tori Spelling went shopping for a Christmas tree on Sunday with her husband, Dean McDermott. Is it me, or does he always have the exact same expression in every picture? Tori, sweetie, those pigtails have got to go. No one else will tell you, but I will.

It's Official: Tori Spelling Expecting a Boy

Actress Tori Spelling and and her husband, Dean McDermott, are expecting a baby boy.

"We are thrilled to be having a son together. Little boys are a ton of fun. We love talking to him. We play tunes for him and watch him kick. He already loves the Dixie Chicks! We went to their concert and he kicked the whole time."

To honor the memory of Tori's late father, the baby's middle name will be Aaron. "Dean and I feel it's the perfect way to honor the memory of my father." They haven't settled on the first name yet.

On Sunday, they spent the morning shopping for clothes for their new baby at The Intuition, the celeb-favorite haunt where Tori ordered a hooded blue bath towel embroidered with the name Aaron. "When she saw the towel with her dad's name on it, she got a little emotional," says Intuition owner Jaye Hersh. "She said she was so happy they were having a boy so she could honor her dad. It means a lot to her."

Jaye went on to say, "They are so excited to be parents. It was the first time Tori was shopping for clothes for her baby boy, and they loved picking out little outfits for him. Dean was really into the clothes, and he carried all the packages out of the store. He's very protective of her."

Tori Spelling Having a Yard Sale!

Only in Hollywood would a yard sale be covered in People. If you live in or near Studio City, California, you might want to go yard-saling today. Actress Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott are having their own this morning, starting at 9 am.

"I'm having the sale because we're moving and my taste has changed. Plus I'm a notorious pack rat; I keep everything. And I wanted to get organized before the baby arrives, so this seemed the perfect time to clean house. It feels good!"

Besides getting rid of Shabby Chic furniture, Tori is also selling her Beverly Hills 90210 memorabilia, clothes, antique chintzware, signed scripts, artwork, chandeliers, and "jeans that my preggers butt can't fit into anymore," Spelling said jokingly.

Sounds like quite the sale - wish I was close enough to go!
