Cover Boy: Zac Efron on Rolling Stone Magazine

Sure to make all the teen set swoon, High School Musical (and soon to be Footloose remake) star Zac Efron has landed on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

A few excerpts from his interview with the mag:

"A lot of problems you see people having in this business is that is becomes about their personal lives and not about their work. Matthew McConaughey has singlehandedly funded the tabloid magazines for the past two years now. If he would put on a shirt and just get away from the beach, maybe there would be a few less paparazzi around."

"I'm the same age as some other people who are dealing with scandals. I've got friends out here, and we do what kids our age are doing. We don't need people taking photos of us."

"The weird thing that no one expected about Vanessa (Hudgens, his on and off-screen girlfriend) is that underneath such a sweet girl ... is a very sexy woman."

Zac Efron Tapped for Footloose Lead

High School Musical star Zac Efron has signed on to pick up where Kevin Bacon left off -- in a musical remake of the movie Footloose. Brought to us by Paramount, Kenny Ortega is also back in the picture, both as choreographer and director. Loved this movie from 1984 - can't wait to see the new one.
