It's Official: Neve Campbell Marries

The former Party of Five star Neve Campbell married British actor John Light over the weekend. The couple first met in 2001, and got engaged in February 2006.

"Neve was married in a small ceremony in Malibu on Saturday," her rep, Jill Fritzo, says.

It's definitely been a busy time lately for Neve, who marked her return to TV in a three-arc stint on Medium last week.

Light had a starring role in the 2003 Showtime movie The Lion in Winter and he also appeared in the 2001 HBO miniseries Band of Brothers.

This is Neve's second marriage, who split from Canadian actor Jeff Colt in 1997, after 2 years of marriage.

Neve Campbell Returns to TV Tonight

Can you believe it's been seven years already since the family drama Party of Five came to an end? Neve Campbell, who played the middle child Julia on the drama, is finally returning to television in a three-episode arc starting tonight on NBC's Medium.

She will play a traveling pharmaceutical salesperson who becomes friends with Allison when the psychic needs someone to confide in. Another '90s teen idol makes a guest appearance on this episode as well ... Jason Priestley. First the audience of Dancing with the Stars earlier this week, now Medium. He will play a man on trial for murder.

In an ironic twist, Medium airs opposite Lost, so Neve will be competing against her former Party of Five co-star Matthew Fox for viewers.

Rumors abound that she is also tying the knot with her boyfriend, John Light, this weekend. Sure a busy week for someone who's been largely out of the picture.

It's Official: Alan Cumming Gets Married!

It isn't every day that we get to report a male-male wedding, but today's the day. X-Men 2 actor Alan Cumming has married his boyfriend, commercial illustrator Grant Shaffer. The ceremony was performed yesterday outside London.

One hundred forty guests attended, including Sir Ian McKellen, Geri Halliwell, Neve Campbell, and Monica Lewinsky (huh?). The ceremony was held at the 175-year-old Old Royal Naval College.

For an unusual twist, instead of a first dance, they had a first skate, skating to Queen's "You're My Best Friend" on an outside rented ice rink.

"Not only are we so happy to be able to celebrate our love for each other, but also to be able to do it in a country that properly recognizes the rights of same-sex couples," Cumming said in a statement. "As residents of America we would have loved to marry there, but we hope that soon the civil rights that we have been afforded in the U.K. will be available to all gay Americans, and we look forward to celebrating not only our marriage, but the end of prejudice."

The couple have been together for 2 years and live in New York City.

This is Cumming's second marriage. The last one was to actress Hilary Lyon and ended in 1993.
