It's Official: The Bachelorette Trista Sutter Has Baby Boy

Although technically she's not a bachelorette anymore since she married her prince, Ryan Sutter, nearly four years ago. The couple met on the first season of the popular reality ABC show, The Bachelorette, and got married during a two-hour televised special in December of 2003.

They welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Maxwell Alston Sutter on Thursday at the Vail Valley Medical Center in Colorado.

Sutter told US Magazine, "He's perfect and beautiful, and everyone's doing great."

It's Official: Trista & Ryan Sutter are Expecting!

Timing sure is everything, isn't it? Just a few hours ago, I did a highlight on what popular The Bachelorette and her husband have been up to lately, mentioning that they've been trying to have a baby. Well, it turns out, they can stop trying. People magazine is reporting that the couple is expecting their first baby - Trista is 14 weeks pregnant.

"We are so happy after two years of trying," Trista says.

Trista told Ryan late December, after he got back from a mountain expedition in Argentina.

"He was completely windburned and his lips were dry," Trista recalls. "We had a three-hour drive back to our home from the airport and I couldn't wait to tell him, so I pulled him aside to a quiet part of the baggage claim area and told him there."

Adds Ryan, "I am happy to be able to finally be a dad."

"I've had horrendous morning sickness," she admits, "but everyone says that is a sign of a healthy pregnancy."

What's Trista Sutter Been Up To?

Remember The Bachelorette Trista Sutter (nee Rehn)? After being one of the girls on The Bachelor, she went on to find her own prince in Ryan Sutter on The Bachelorette, and the couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary in December. They have been keeping busy with various projects since they've been together and have been working on trying to add to their family.

Ryan has a shopping website, Mixed Market, which partners with eco-charities., and she is a VP Designer with B's Purses.

They currently live in Vail, Colorado with their two dogs, Tank and Natasha.
