Chris Harrison Interview

The Host of ABC's The Bachelor, Chris Harrison, really spills his guts in this radio show interview. He says Lorenzo was the worst Bachelor in Bachelor history, talks about how the directors pick the order roses are handed out, and says 25 percent of the Bachelorette pool are kicked out due to STDs and drug tests.

Lorenzo and ...Erica?

As I flipped through my Us Weekly Magazine this weekend, I was horrified when I reached page 36. There, staring me in the face was a picture of the last Bachelor, Lorenzo Borghese, with his arm around the socialite tramp of that season, Erica Rose. "Say it ain't so" was my first reaction. And it was in the "Spring Romance" section. Uh-oh.

Well, turns out that's exactly the reaction Erica and Lorenzo were trying to get. Here's what the mag had to say about the picture:

Lorenzo Borghese went public with his third fling from The Bachelor: Rome, Erica Rose, at a Children's Aid Society benefit in NYC March 31. "We know our hanging out would send tongues wagging, so at least we're helping a good cause," she tells Us.

I am pretty sure that's code for the fact that they aren't dating and that he was just trying to help out the charity. Am I just reading it to say what I want it to?

Sadie and Lorenzo Update

Page Six recently caught up with The Bachelor of Rome, Lorenzo Borghese, and Sadie Murray. Sadie moved to an apartment in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and took a job at a PR firm in NYC. She worked there for about a month, but has given notice. She says she's "looking for a job at a different agency" and that she loves New York: "I'm trying to get acclimated to this city."

Page Six asked if Sadie was dating anyone:

"I'm a single girl in New York City. There's nothing better, right? . . . I'm being sarcastic." An insider said, "Lorenzo just wouldn't commit to her. He liked her a lot but wouldn't make her his one and only. Seems like he had a completely different impression of her before she moved here. He thought she was very sweet, innocent and intelligent. Turns out she is a big party girl and doesn't take her job seriously at all."

I'm not buying this story. Sadie just doesn't strike me as a party girl. Now, I can buy the fact that Lorenzo isn't ready to settle down. Why should he be different from every other guy who stars as the Bachelor?

Lorenzo Borghese Speaks Out

Thanks to a detailed recap by Irismb over at Joker's Updates (one of the only message boards I faithfully read), Bachelor fans now get to hear from the man himself, Lorenzo Borghese.

Lorenzo appeared at Rollins College and answered a whole slew of questions. He even answered the questions on everyone's mind - when did he and Jen break up and are he and runner up Sadie Murray dating? Here's what the poster at Joker's recounts from Lorenzo's appearance:

About Jen he stated that they are no longer together. Someone asked if they had already broken up when they were doing their interviews, and he said no. They broke up about a week later. He also answered that during the time they were apart they had "secret rondevous" in places he couldn't disclose and they were able to spend time in this house.

He stated that Jen still has the ring, that's her prize for "winning."
He also said he was not dating Sadie. He stated that Sadie had been looking for a job in New York and she had received six offers and her choice to move to NY was a career move she made and had nothing to do with him. They are just friends.

Is Lorenzo a Man-Whore?

Page Six gives us more news of The Bachelor of Rome, Lorenzo Borghese, and his split from Jennifer Wilson. We've heard news recently that Lorenzo is now dating the show's runner up, Sadie Murray. However, Page Six throws some water on that fire.

Page Six says that "At last week's dinner at Gilt to celebrate Raquel Welch's being named the new MAC makeup icon, Borghese chatted up Tinsley Mortimer's sister, Dabney Mercer. Spies said they exchanged numbers and left together." Let's just hope this was an innocent little thing and not a sign that Sadie made a mistake by moving so far from home!

Confirmation re The Bachelor's Breakup

ET received confirmation today that The Bachelor of Rome, Lorenzo Borghese, has broken up with his pick from the show, Jennifer Wilson. The publicist said: "I can confirm that Jen and Lorenzo have broken up." The status of the ring is still up in the air.

And the even more interesting development, that Sadie Murray, the runner up, is moving to New York, is also unconfirmed. ET's sources said that Sadie "has accepted a job in New York City but that the move is totally unrelated to Lorenzo."

E! Online's Kristin Veitch heard a different story about Sadie's move. She spoke with the host of The Bachelor, Chris Harrison, who says that he cannot confirm or deny that Sadie and Lorenzo are dating, but he can say that "Sadie has definitely moved to New York. And she and Lorenzo have definitely been going to dinner together, and hanging out together in New York." As Kristin said: "You do the math!" Harrison also told Kristin: "I know he loved Sadie on the show."

Anyone out there doubt that Sadie and Lorenzo are together? I sure don't!

Lorenzo and Sadie are Together?

We here at the Glitter and Gossip offices have been all over this story like white on rice, but now Us Weekly is on it: The Bachelor of Rome, Lorenzo Borghese, and Sadie Murray are together. It's not quite a confirmation from the two of them, but an Us Weekly source says that "Lorenzo and Jennifer are now on the rocks, and he’s gone back to Sadie. They’re spending time together." In case you don't recall, Sadie was the runner up on the show's finale, when Lorenzo picked Florida school teacher Jennifer Wilson.

During the show's finale, Lorenzo said: "Watching Sadie drive away in the limo was by far the worst moment of this entire journey." The source confirmed what we reported on weeks ago: "Sadie is moving to New York City, where Lorenzo lives, to pursue her career."

While I am kinda sad that Sadie would go out with him after he didn't choose her, I also think everyone deserves a second chance. And I was really rooting for Sadie during the season. She seemed so sweet and sincere. Now we're on the lookout for confirmation from Lorenzo and Sadie. We will keep you updated!

Update on The Bachelor's Sadie Murray

Remember Sadie? The last woman that Prince Lorenzo Borghese sent away before he gave Teacher Jennifer a "promise ring?" Well Reality TV Superstars is reporting that she was recently in New York City, interviewing for a PR job. I'm sure the position in New York has NOTHING to do with the rumors that Prince Lorenzo and Jennifer are already over, right? Inquiring minds want to know.

More Sadie and Lorenzo News

Page Six confirms (well, at least alleges) that the news about the Bachelor's Lorenzo Borghese dating runner-up Sadie is true.

Seems that the woman Lorenzo picked on the show's finale, Jen, "started dating her ex-boyfriend in the months she was forced to be apart from Borghese and won't be reuniting with the hunk from Jersey."

And, here comes the quasi-confirmation we were looking for: "We hear he's bringing the runner-up, San Diego virgin Sadie, up to New York for a romantic trip."

I wonder how Sadie feels about being called the San Diego virgin.

Highly Skeptical Posting: Is Lorenzo Dating Sadie?

Now, I generally don't rely on message boards for sources of gossip stories. And I rely on the Home Shopping Network message boards, um, never. However, this story is just too juicy to pass up, so here goes.

Lorenzo Borghese's brother Skip (yes, his name is Skip) appeared on the Home Shopping Network to promote his Italian Bath and Body line. During his appearance, the hostess, Colleen, revealed that she saw Lorenzo and Sadie together in New York City. Lorenzo's brother confirmed it and the hostess said that the cat was out the bag. Skip also posted on the HSN message board (posted December 17, 2006 04:24 PM) that he recently had dinner with Sadie and Lorenzo and that she is even better in person. In other Bachelor news, while hunting down the Lorenzo and Sadie rumors, I ran across this Reality TV World story, which reveals that despite all appearances on the show, Lorenzo made his decision on who to pick only two hours before the Final Rose Ceremony. That's certainly not the best start to a relationship....

So how do we feel about this? I loved Sadie and hoped that he would pick her, but only if he really meant it. Is it bad that she would date him after he rejected her?

Is Jennifer Cheating on Lorenzo (Already?)

MSNBC says there is some speculation that ABC's Bachelor Lorenzo Borghese might have picked a cheater. While their source is dubious (the National Enquirer), the report does sound plausible.

Apparently, Jennifer is dating a teacher at the school where she works. Here's what the National Enquirer says about it:

"I can't believe I had just watched her accept the last rose from Prince Lorenzo on television, then only days later she was making out with Dan!" a source told the Enquirer. "When Dan asked Jennifer about what she was going to do about Lorenzo, she told him point blank that she doesn't have any romantic feelings for him at all and has absolutely no intention of following through with their plans to start a future together," says the pal.

Jennifer refused to comment on the story, but her alleged boyfriend says that he and Jennifer are not dating and are just "good friends."

However, only three days later, Jennifer and the Other Man were seen "frolicking on a beach together," and the Enquirer has photographic proof (not published online). Thus ends the fairy tale, if there ever was one.
