Shocking Development: Star Magazine Had the Facts Wrong
In a shocking development (I mean, I am sure this has never happened before, EVER), Star Magazine may have been wrong in its story that Anna Nicole Smith married her lawyer/baby daddy Howard K. Stern. For some reason, the TrimSpa guy has become Anna's spokesperson (maybe part of her contract so he can get the company name into the press?) and he told another tabloid magazine, In Touch, that they did not get married. Instead, they participated in a commitment ceremony.
Do you think he give her a promise ring? Maybe his fraternity pin or his letterman jacket? I guess if it brought some happiness into a tough time, it was a great idea, but I don't really get it. Here's what E! Online has to say:

UNOFFICIALLY TOGETHER: TrimSpa CEO Alex Goen telling In Touch magazine that Anna Nicole Smith and lawyer Howard K. Stern participated in a commitment ceremony Thursday aboard a boat in the Bahamas but did not get married. They haven't applied for a marriage license yet but, according to Goen, "they do plan to have a proper ceremony in the future."
