Before the dust has even settled on Emmitt Smith's Dancing with the Stars disco ball trophy, ABC has announced that a new season of the hit show will likely premiere in March, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

An ABC executive stated they are still trying determine whether it will be up against the juggernaut of American Idol. Andy Denhart at Reality Blurred says that would be "a fascinating yet colossally stupid idea." For those of us with DVRs, we'll be okay. The rest of you have until March to go get yourself one!
