It's Official: Chris Robinson Files for Divorce from Kate Hudson

After three months of separation, hippie rocker Chris Robinson officially filed for divorce from actress Kate Hudson today in Los Angeles.

Unlike Britney Spears' soon-to-be-ex-husband, Kevin Federline, Chris is not seeking spousal support ... because he is capable of supporting himself (hear that, K-Fed?!).

Chris requested joint legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old long-haired son, Ryder.

The couple married on New Year's Eve in 2000, just a few short months after they met. It has been rumored, though not confirmed, that Kate has been dating her You, Me and Dupree costar Owen Wilson.
