Pete Doherty Questioned in Murder Investigation

Now, he's not a suspect, but Pete Doherty is being questioned in a murder investigation, according to E! Online. Doherty was at a party on December 3 where aspiring actor named Mark Blanco fell to his death. Doherty and his buddies left the scene of the death before the police arrived.

Police think the man fell from a second-floor balcony, but the man's family thinks otherwise. Blanco had a fresh black eye when he was found and he had vertigo, so would have avoided the balcony, according to his family. Fellow partygoers have said that Doherty and Blanco got in a fight earlier in the night and the party's host asked Blanco to leave. But Blanco's family says he was a pacifist.

One partygoer said that before moving on to another party, Doherty stopped to examine Blanco's body:

"He came out of the house and was clearly very concerned. He came and stooped down next to me. I was saying to Peter 'it's okay, it's alright,'" the woman said. "Peter went 'it's not f--king okay; it's not alright' and was clearly very distressed."

After going to the hospital, Blanco died the next day.
