Will Pete Doherty Ever Go To Jail?

E! Online reports that Pete Doherty has once again avoided jail time after being convicted on drug offenses. This time he was charged with possession of heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis. Instead of going to the slammer, he has to pay a $1,500 fine and cannot drive for four months. Way to stick it to him!!

Doherty got off so easy by following a previous court order that required him to go to rehab, keep his job and stay out of trouble. Apparently just doing the first two was enough for the judge, who must be a Babyshambles fan, because Doherty was arrested on suspicion of crack possession last month.
