The OC Cancelled By Fox
TMZ reports that Fox has cancelled The OC. TMZ put it best: "After killing off their most famous character, turning Summer into a hippie, and forcing Ryan to fight just about everybody who looked at him the wrong way, the folks behind 'The OC' have finally thrown in the beach towel." The show's creator had this vague and non-committal statement to make: "This feels like the best time to bring the show to its close." The series, which premiered in 2003, will end on February 22.
Maybe Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody's split was just more than the little show could handle?
