It's Official: American Idol Contestant Heading for Divorce Court

Remember country boy Bucky Covington from last season's American Idol? Well, you know you've made it big when People magazine is covering your bust-up with your wife of seven years. Although he didn't win American Idol, he does have a record label, and he has released this statement through them:

"This is a difficult time for both of us and I would ask that everyone respect our privacy."

The couple was married for seven years and has no children. His first single, "A Different World" came out last month, and his first album debuts in April. Now he'll be able to mingle with all the groupies he'll meet on the road.
