Lane Garrison In Big Trouble
Remember that car accident that the Prison Break actor Lane Garrison was involved in last month? Well, police confirmed yesterday that he had cocaine and more than twice the legal blood alcohol level in his system after a fatal car crash, and they recommended that he be charged with felony vehicular manslaughter.
Garrison was the driver in an accident that killed a 17-year-old male passenger that he had just met. Two 15-year-old girls, who were also in the car, were both injured – one critically.
The Beverly Hills police department has turned over the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, and it is being reviewed now.
If convicted of gross vehicular manslaughter, he could face up to 10 years in prison. The other charges would add additional years to the term.
Garrison plays "Tweener" on the FOX drama, Prison Break.
