Can you believe it's been 10 years since the blockbuster movie Titanic? I hadn't realized it had been that long. Titanic stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are finally reuniting onscreen and will be teaming up to play a married souple in the upcoming drama Revolutionary Road from Dreamworks.

Sam Mendes, Kate's husband, will direct the movie, based on the 1961 novel by Richard Yates about post-war disillusionment.

DiCaprio has most recently been seen in "Blood Diamond" and "The Departed," and Kate was in "Little Children," "The Holiday" (loved that one!) and "All the King's Men."

This is the first time that Mendes has directed either of the two stars.

Newsweek's Oscar Roundtable

Check out all the fancy actors in one place, huh? Newsweek conducted an Oscar Roundtable that included Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Forest Whitaker, Helen Mirren, Penelope Cruz and Leonardo DiCaprio. The event consisted of all these stars schmoozing and picking on eachother (in a nice way) for two hours.

I guess the event was a success, since Newsweek published nine freaking pages of it. Read the whole thing here. For those of us with short attention spans, here's my favorite excerpt from Brad Pitt (of course):

"I had a job driving strippers around. Yeah, my job was to drive them to bachelor parties and things. I'd pick them up, and at the gig I'd collect the money, play the bad Prince tapes and catch the girls' clothes. It was not a wholesome atmosphere, and it got very depressing. After two months I went in to quit, and the guy said, 'Listen, I've got this one last gig tonight.' So I did it, and this girl—I'd never met her before—was in an acting class taught by a man named Roy London [a famous acting coach]. I went and checked it out, and it really set me on the path to where I am now. Strippers changed my life."

Jennifer Connelly is a Cover Girl

She was on the cover of the January issue of Elle magazine, and now she is the cover girl for the February issue of Glamour. That girl sure does get around.

The Academy Award winning actress, 36, is married to actor Paul Bettany (from the blockbuster movie The Da Vinci Code), and has two children, Kai, 9, and Stellan, 3. Her newest film is Blood Diamond, also starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

The interview for Glamour magazine was conducted by author Eve Ensler, who is best-known for her play, The Vagina Monologues, which has been performed in more than 76 countries. Some excerpts from their interview:

EE: Were your parents really supportive?

JC: Of?

EE: You.

JC: Yeah, my parents were supportive.

EE: There’s a little reservation there.

JC: Yes, my parents were supportive of me. They are supportive of me. Sometimes I don’t know how I wound up modeling when I was 10, but they were supportive, and everything’s cool now.

EE: Whose idea was the modeling?

JC: I don’t really know. It gave me some interesting things that I had to figure out and work through. I look at girls these days and their mothers tell me, “My daughter’s asking ‘Do I look fat? Do I look fat?’” and they’re nine years old. Growing up modeling magnified that for me; it was weird to try and get through it.

EE: Do you think the world sees you as funny?

JC: I wouldn’t think so. I get a lot of scripts for women on the verge!

EE: Like breakdown mode.

JC: Yeah. I don’t feel crazy. I don’t feel unstable.

EE: You so don’t seem unstable to me.

JC: Thank you. Oh! My fingernails!

EE: What about them?

JC: Part of my body that I don’t like. My fingernails! I can’t leave them alone.

EE: Why?

JC: People try and put nail polish on them, but I take it off. I chew them.

EE: So what part of you are they a metaphor for?

JC: That’s too deep for me. It’s just something I can get away with. It’s not drugs, it’s not cigarettes, it’s not alcohol.

EE: It’s something that’s entirely in your control—unlike an interview, where you have no control of the direction it’ll go.

JC: This hasn’t been so bad! I am particularly happy you didn’t ask me if I kissed Leonardo DiCaprio.

EE: That’s ‘cause I don’t care!
