Grey's Anatomy's Sara Ramirez is Singing a New Song

Sara Ramirez, who plays T.R. Knight's wife on the hit show Grey's Anatomy, has just signed a record deal. “All I can say is that Eric Idle and John Du Prez, who were the writers of Spamalot, are writing the album,” Ramirez told TV Guide at the Step Up Inspiration Awards where she was honored recently for mentoring young girls.

She won't even tell us what type of music it will be, but the Tony Award-winning actress who signed a contract with Universal Music Group plans to record the album when she goes on break from her Grey's Anatomy job.

In the meantime, Sara let loose on a few details behind the George, Callie and Izzie love triangle. “Callie is just showing up doing her job, oblivious to everything,” says Ramirez. Will she leave George? “I think she knows her relationship with George is in sort of a delicate place,” she hints. “But she’s a strong lady. She knows what she wants so I’m sure she’ll go to any lengths to get it!”

“Am I back next season?” she asks with a laugh. “Maybe. This character’s just been so much fun to play. Acting with this group of people has been a master class in episodic television. For now, I’m just enjoying the ride.”

TR Knight Will Stay on Grey's Anatomy

MSNBC is reporting that TR Knight (George) may be leaving Grey's Anatomy. However, E! Online's Kristin Veitch begs to differ. Kristin says: "T.R. Knight is not leaving Grey's Anatomy. I repeat, T.R. Knight is not leaving Grey's Anatomy."

Word on the street was that T.R. was so mad about about the network handled all the drama with Isaiah Washington that he decided to call it quits. Such is not the case. Veitch spoke with reliable sources including T.R.'s publicist and they all report that T.R. is staying.

The Grey's Anatomy War Carries On

Earlier this week, Madison talked about Katherine Heigl's statement about co-star Isaiah Washington. Now comes new statements from T.R. Knight, the guy who plays loveable George on the popular drama.

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, to air today, T.R. Knight said that hearing Isaiah call him a "faggot" on the set is what gave him the courage to come out of the closet, and he's "speechless" that Washington denied using the word on Monday.

"It's an awesome word, isn't it?" T.R. said to Ellen. "I've never been called that to my face. So I think when that happened, something shifted, and it became bigger than myself ... I was under no delusions. My friends on the set knew. We talked about it. Publicly it's not my thing to call up PEOPLE magazine and be like, 'Hey, you want to know something about me?' ... I could've just let it slide and not said anything, but it became important. It became important to make the statement."

Guess things really aren't back to normal on the Grey's Anatomy set after all.
