Britney Shows Signs of Intelligence Again
US Weekly is reporting that Britney spears has abruptly pulled out of her co-hosting gig with Paris Hilton, that was so recently reported here. US confirmed the news with Fox, who will be airing the Billboard Music Awards that Britney and Paris were going to co-host: "She pulled out," confirms a source with Fox. "She didn't give a reason." Apparently, reps for Hilton and Spears were negotiating the contract this morning, but then at 5 pm, Britney withdrew. So now the show will move forward with Hilton alone as the host or may have Brad Garrett host the show.
Is it just me or is it odd that they don't have a host for an awards show that is airing on Monday?

Strange that they wait until the last minute to plan hosts, but stranger still that supposed A-list celebs (Britney, not Paris) would make themselves so available. You'd think they'd want to at least "appear" busy and in demand...?
