Red Eye reports that Hilary Duff and Good Charlotte's Joel Madden have broken up. Trent at Pink Is the New Blog confirmed the news.

Apparently, Madden appeared at a Chicago club as a guest DJ and talked about how he is currently single. The break up happened about 10 days ago, with the eight-year age difference being the major contributing factor.
