New Reality Show: When Women Rule the World
Variety (via Reality Blurred) says that Fox has picked up a new reality show called. The show, called When Women Rule the World, is produced by the folks behind "Joe Millionaire" and "Temptation Island." Do you think that's a good thing or a bad thing?
Here's what Fox's reality TV guy says about the show, which will award a $250,000 prize:
The women decide who goes home each week and they will trade the manservant for supplies needed to improve their society. Any show that calls its contestant "manservants" is, by definition, a winner in my book.
Other details of the show include a Survivor-esque requirement to build their own accomodations, the election a queen by the women, and a constant number of women but a shrinking number of men.
The show should premiere this spring.

"You take 12 attractive women who feel like it's still a man's world and who think they've hit a glass ceiling, and you give them their own society to run. Then you take 12 macho, chauvinistic guys who also think men rule the world and see how they survive in a world where they're literally manservants. ... They'll have to obey every command from the women."
