Vanessa Minnillo to Exit Stage Left on TRL

MTV Total Request Live VJ and girlfriend of Nick Lachey has decided to hang up her mike and leave after four years. “I chose not to re-sign,” she said at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s annual gala at the Waldorf-Astoria last night. “I don’t want to be 48 going, ‘Hey kids, now it’s Sean Preston Spears’ video!’”

She's set to appear in a cameo in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie, and she and Nick just shacked up in his Manhattan home, but the future beyond that is an open slate. “I have had my run and I’m ready for the next chapter. What it is? I have no idea,” she says. “I don’t know if it’s going to be with a television show, with movies, with hosting, or maybe just even a family.” Hmmmm.

Hills Star Gets Bigger, Well, Hills

Heidi Montag will have even more of herself to share with the world on MTV's The Hills, which she stars in with Laguna Beach alum Lauren Conrad. Us Weekly is reporting that Montag recently got breast implants (and yes, it is a slow news day).

The surgery happened on Monday at an office located in Beverly Hills, of course. Us learned that she has wanted to undergo the procedure for years, but finally decided to go big. Maybe she thinks this will help sales of the pop album she is currently recording?

Vanessa Minnillo's New Gig

It seems like ever since she hooked up with former Jessica Simpson husband, Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo's star has been on the rise. Besides her MTV VJ duties, she is also a Bongo Girl. Now we can add "cosmetic creator" to her resume. Vanessa, 26, has signed on to be a guest creator for Flirt! Cosmetics and will be developing a limited-edition collection that will be available at Kohl's in August. Wonder if they'll have a "perpetual prom girl" collection in the line? Meow!

And if that's not enough, and really, why should it be, she is also on the cover of the April issue of Shape magazine.

It's Official: Ex-MTV VJ Welcomes Baby #3

Remember Tabitha Soren? She was one of the original VJ's back when MTV started way back when. She was also the popular public face behind the network's "Choose or Lose" campaign designed to get young people out to vote.

Hard to believe, but she's now 39 years old and just welcomed her third child with husband, author Michael Lewis. The baby's name is Walker Jack. Walker joins sisters Quinn Tallulah (born in 1999) and Dixie (born 2002). Tabitha and her husband, Michael, have been married since 1997.

It's Official: Bam Margera Gets Married

Jackass star Bam Margera married his childhood friend, Missy Rothstein, over the weekend. The professional skateboarder and MTV star, 27, exchanged vows with Missy (no word on her career choice), 26, in Philadelphia before 350 friends and family members. Of course the requisite MTV crew was there to record the whole shebang for Bam's reality show, Bam's Unholy Union. The wedding will be shown in the final episode in early April.

The celebration included a performance by Iggy Pop, as well an appearance by fellow skateboarder Tony Hawk.

The couple has known each other since the sixth grade, and renewed their friendship two years ago. "I love his spontaneity, even though it drives me crazy sometimes," Rothstein said. "I'd be bored if he was normal like everyone else."

The couple is honeymooning in Dubai.

What's Up for Wilmer Valderrama?

The popular star of That 70s Show has been busy lately, especially with those pesky rumors that he's back with his ex, Mandy Moore (yet to be confirmed).

Parade Magazine recently caught up Wilmer, and he's got stuff going on all over the place:

"I created a new reality show for MTV," he said. "You ever see the movie 8 Mile? I created an 8 Mile with laughs. It's a competition called Yo Mama. We go to cities around L.A. and get a bunch of kids at random and let them talk smack—you know: 'Yo mama's this, yo mama's that...' The funniest, the most creative of them will battle it out before a live audience. We need a new generation of reality shows. That's the idea here."

But even for MTV, won't the language be pretty rough? "The more profanity you use," Wilmer said, "the less creative you look. They discipline themselves. MTV guaranteed us 20 episodes. I'm the host and executive producer." So he has money in this thing? "Sure," Wilmer answered. "In Hollywood, to make real money, you have to own a piece of it."

Today, Wilmer is savoring a life that a few years back seemed impossibly distant. He recently was cast to star in the new film version of the '70s TV series CHiPs. On top of performing and producing, he even has a clothing line, Calavena, due out soon, and he co-owns three restaurants. As Wilmer said happily, "It's crazy, man."

Ellen Pompeo in Allure Magazine

I love Grey's Anantomy and eagerly look forward to each episode. But Ellen Pompeo? I don't know ... she just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it was the episode of Punk'd when she got all snotty with the waitress in a "Don't you know who I am?" way. And for those that missed it, I've put it below for your viewing pleasure.

She's in the newest issue of Allure magazine, and the interview there hasn't bolstered my opinion of her. You know how when they have a cover star, they print a bunch of different pictures of them inside, wearing different outfits at different events, and the star provides a little commentary on each? Well, Ellen did that, and in one of the pictures, her commentary was, "I bought that at Barneys all by myself." Seriously, does she get a special medal because she managed to go shopping and buy a dress on her own. If she'd lose the holier than thou attitude, I'd probably like her better. That being said, she must be a good actress, because Meredith doesn't bother me nearly as much as Ellen does.

I never knew that she did a guest spot on the NBC hit show, Friends. Obviously not a career making cameo, but her nonetheless. I love Friends - forgot how funny it was - might be time to break out a few reruns.

New Reality Show: MTV's I'm From Rolling Stone

A new reality show is about to hit TV and the staffers at US Weekly had a bit of an inside view into it's production, since they share a floor with Rolling Stone magazine. The show, called "I'm From Rolling Stone," features six aspiring journalists who compete for a job at the magazine.

Here's what US Weekly had to say about their views on the new show:

Since the RS and Us Weekly offices are on the same floor, we got to witness all of this firsthand; although, the only time we walked past the cameras, an editor shot us in the butt with a rubber dart and we cursed really loudly – so you probably won’t be seeing us on the show.

We don’t actually know much about the interns, except that we once saw one of them actively wearing sunglasses indoors, which was all we needed to start rooting against her immediately.

US Weekly also informs us that Rolling Stone set up a blog that includes info about the contestants. The show premieres on January 7, then you can watch the show on Sundays at 10 P.M. on MTV.
