BRAD PITT

OK! joins the cast of Ocean’s 13 for an exclusive fund-raiser

Only OK! was invited to join Brad Pitt, George Clooney and the rest of the cast of Ocean’s 13 on the RM Elegant, one of the world’s most expensive yachts, to promote Not On Our Watch, a group which raises awareness of the horror occurring daily in Darfur. “We’re trying to get what’s happening to stay on the radar,” George told OK!. Brad pointed out that while the problem seems far away, “It’s our problem too. If this was happening in the U.S. it would be a different matter....”

PAULA ABDUL

The Idol judge gives her most heartfelt interview to OK!

Paula Abdul has enjoyed a long career as a dancer, musician and Idol personality. But the star admits that her life has come with emotional highs and lows. “I’ve survived a number of crises, and with it comes depression. I have really good therapists. I’m not afraid to ask for help,” she tells OK!. Paula also talks candidly about the plane and car accidents that left her in pain, her blossoming love life and fights back over claims that she sometimes exhibits bizarre behavior.

JORDIN SPARKS

America’s newest Idol talks to OK!

Jordin Sparks may be American Idol’s youngest winner at 17, but she has some very grown-up views on the pressure in Hollywood to be super-skinny. “I really think Hollywood needs to get over it,” she tells OK! “I’m gonna stay the same. It would look really weird if I lost a ton of weight anyway. I like the way I look.” The bubbly teen also tells OK! about the designer style she rocked for the finale, and her secret Idol crush!

STAR JONES

She’s helping women achieve their goals

Star Jones recently hosted a charity brunch for Dress for Success, an organization that helps disadvantaged women by providing business attire and a support network to boost their career chances. Star herself has donated more than 100 boxes of clothes to the cause. “Dress for Success has gotten all of my clothes from when I was size 24 through size 10,” she told OK!. The new Court TV correspondent also talks about how comfortable she is now with her body. “The big goal was to never have to carry an inhaler in my hand again — I haven’t in four years this August,” she revealed to OK!. Star also filled us in on her diet and fitness secrets.

KELLY RIPA
America’s sweetheart is determined to save her troubled marriage
Live With Regis & Kelly host Kelly Ripa seems to effortlessly balance her professional and home life, caring for her husband, Mark Consuelos, and their three children. But the couple’s grueling work schedules have put a strain on their 11-year marriage. Kelly had to take up the slack when Regis Philbin left their show for bypass surgery, while Mark has spent the last few weeks in Los Angeles, shooting his new reality show Age of Love. In spite of recent tensions, Kelly and Mark are not giving up on their marriage. “They have both realized that changes need to be made,” a friend tells OK!. “They are determined to not let this marriage fail.”

KATIE HOLMES
Will Nicole undermine her efforts to be a good stepmom?
Katie Holmes has been growing closer to her stepchildren, Conner and Isabella, a fact that irks their mother, Nicole Kidman. “Nicole is being very firm about the fact that these are her kids, not Katie’s,” a friend of the star tells OK!. Nicole is taking action, asking ex-husband Tom Cruise for more time to spend with her children, and it seems that her persistence is finally paying off.

PAULA ABDUL — OK! EXCLUSIVE
Only in OK!, Paula predicts who will be in the top two!
OK!’s own Idol Insider Paula Abdul dishes on the final three contestants on America Idol, and who she feels should be competing in the top two slots. Paula also reveals how she made her choice for Blake’s “judge’s pick” song; which of the final three desperately needs a makeover; and what she thinks about LaKisha’s recent elimination.

HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS IN HOLLYWOOD
Stars drop pounds the right way
More celebs are losing weight sensibly. Mother of two Brooke Shields shed her baby weight on what she calls “the three-year-old diet,” running after now 4-year-old daughter Rowan a mere month after her younger daughter, Grier, was born. Sandra Bullock has admitted she put on pounds after settling into blissful married life with Jesse James, but an active lifestyle with her husband of three years has helped her slim down.

Sanjaya's Out of American Idol. Oh, Happy Day!

By now you must have heard that Sanjaya got kicked off American Idol last night (sorry if you TiVo'd it). One would think that he could at least rely on Paula for some sympathy as the nation rejoices that American Idol is now Sanjaya-free. No such luck.

TMZ talked to Paula after she dined at LA's Mr. Chow last night, where they asked her how she felt about losing Sanjaya. Instead the spouting the usual sugary sweet stuff, Paula just said: "Oh he'll be fine." She also said that now that Sanjaya is gone: "The competition's gonna start getting heavy." I just hope there will be less ponyhawks. Is that too much to ask?

Is Paula Abdul a Liar?

From the "You've Got to be Kidding Me" desk, Paula Abdul told US Weekly that she's never been drunk. Paula said:

"I've never been drunk," the 44-year-old Abdul tells Us in an exclusive interview. "I have never done recreational drugs. Just look at my 20-year career. "Tell me someone who is into partying and or doing drugs that could have done that."
She admits she uses prescription drugs for treatment of inflammatory arthritis and reflex sympathetic dystrophy, but she does not use them socially. Is anyone buying this? Can her crazy, whacked out behavior be from just using prescription drugs?

Paula Gets Sued

ET's The Insider reports that Paula Abdul has been sued in connection with her new reality show. A lawsuit was filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court by PFTV, which says Paula and her production partner secretly sold her new show, called "Hey Paula" and cut it out of the deal. Paula says:

"While I'm not going to respond to this baseless lawsuit, I will say that 'Hey Paula' is based upon my life and my ideas," Paula tells "The Insider." "Last I heard, I still own my own life."

Stop the Presses! Courtney Love NOT Coming to American Idol

The rumors have been running rampant lately (ahem, US Magazine), that the producers from American Idol called bad-girl rocker Courtney Love to have her replace judge Paula Abdul. Not true says executive producer Nigel Lythgoe.

"I did not call Courtney Love, and am afraid someone may have misrepresented me. Courtney Love is a very talented artist, but the judges for American Idol are Paula, Randy and Simon. We have no plans to add to or replace any of them."

So there.

Paula Strikes Again

People's special American Idol section features an interesting Paula Abdul story today. Paula was named Woman of the Year by the Nevada Ballet Theatre. Don't worry, that's not the interesting part.

The intertesting part is that Paula tried to poke fun at her crazy Seattle tv interview:"Don't ever give a swivel stool to someone who's very hyper and active because I will spin and spin and spin." She also had some zingers for her fellow American Idol cast:

"I couldn't do it without the three men in my life," she said of fellow Idol stars Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest, who flanked her. "Every time Randy Jackson opens up his mouth, I look like a Nobel Prize winner. Every time Simon Cowell opens his mouth, Borat sounds like a Nobel Prize winner..... Ryan, I really do love him; almost as much as he loves himself ?..These three brothers are the best thing a girl can hope for, just ask my therapists."

Paula Abdul Explains Herself

Remember a few days ago when we showed you the clip of Paula Abdul on a Seattle news station? Well, now she's doing the popular backpeddle to explain her strange behavior.

As a guest on The Tonight Show on Monday, she tried to answer Jay's questions on what was going on with her.

"I did a big week of press all last week in New York, and on the third day I did one of those press junkets where you're in that one little room and you're looking at one camera and there are 30 cities talking into your ear. I guess Alabama was in my ear and so was Seattle at the same time, so I'm answering questions to the wrong answers of the cities. So they're going, 'What the heck ... what is she saying?' "

On Monday, FOX Network (thems that air American Idol) issued a statement in support of Paula, "Rather than getting angry about these difficulties, or stopping the tour, Paula forged ahead and decided to have fun with the increasingly challenging situation. Unfortunately, because reporters and viewers were unaware of the situation, her humor was misconstrued."

People magazine reports that Paula was also acting strangely on an appearance on the San Francisco area station KTVU. The anchor actually asked Paula, "Do you always wiggle around that much? You're just wiggling around." Abdul laughed and answered, "I'm a dancer."

I don't know about you folks, but I ain't buying it.

Tim Gunn's New Reality Show

What the hell is Bravo thinking? They haven't signed Tim Gunn up for the next season of Project Runway, but they are giving him his own reality show. Broadcasting & Cable reports that Tim's show, called Tim Gunn's Guide to Style will follow Tim as he gives people makeovers. Sigh.

In other random reality show news, Bravo has cancelled Queer Eye after five seasons. This summer will be the last season of the show.

We also learn that Paula Abdul has a new show coming out. It is a "documentary-style look behind the scenes at her life. The show, tentatively called Hey Paula, is set to debut later in 2007 and will profile the choreographer/singer/perennial worst-dressed candidate at work and with friends." Sounds like Being Bobby Brown II.

Paula Abdul is Out of Control. Seriously.

Paula Abdul might want to think about rehab. She is just completely looped in this video from an interview she did with a Seattle TV station. I have watched American Idol every season and even I have never seen Paula this bad. Show this to your kids to prevent them from drinking or doing drugs:
