It's A Boy for Will Ferrell

People shares the exciting news that Will Ferrell and his wife Viveca Paulson greeted their new son, Mattias Ferrell, on Saturday. Mattias joins his older brother Magnus, who's 2. In his usual style, Ferrell had a funny exchange with Letterman about the baby's impending birth:

When asked if he knew the baby's gender, Ferrell, 39, responded: "You know, I don't know if I do," he said. "I've gotta check my BlackBerry."

He continued, "Well, we do know, but I forget if we're telling people. I told the Today show we weren't telling them. But it's a boy.

Asked by Letterman how Magnus was handling the idea of a little brother, Ferrell said, "He doesn't like it. He's in denial about it. ... I'm like, 'You better live it up now, cause No. 2 is coming and it's not going to be fun for you.'"

OutKast Star Wets His Acting Chops Again

Hip-hop star "Andre 3000" Benjamin, one of the members of the Grammy-winning duo OutKast, is set to act alongside Will Ferrell in the new basketball comedy "Semi-Pro."

The movie will be set in the 70s, which will bode well for Benjamin's usual choice of outfits, and he will play a ladies' man. Actor Woody Harrelson will also be in the movie. Believe it or not, this is not Benjamin's first foray into acting. He's been in some 12 movies since 2002, including Charlotte's Web, Idelwild and Be Cool.

On the music forefront, Benjamin's group OutKast received two Grammy nominations on Thursday for songs on the soundtrack album for the "Idlewild" movie.
