Farrah Fawcett has Cancer

There were rumors swirling on Thursday, but the news has been officially confirmed that popular 70s actress Farrah Fawcett has cancer.

"I am determined to bite the bullet and fight the fight while going through the next six weeks of cutting edge, state-of-the-art treatment," the 59-year-old actress said in a statement released on Friday. "I should be able to return to my life as it was before."

The exact type of cancer has not been shared, but our thoughts are with her as she begins her fight.
