Maks Caught in the Crossfire

How dare The View involve Maks in their petty disputes! People magazine reports that as Rosie O'Donnell and Elizabeth Hasselbeck were having it out onstage last week, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Laila Ali, of Dancing with the Stars fame, were waiting backstage, feeling awkward. Well, and I guess Joey and Kym were there too:

"All four of us were at a loss," Dancing with the Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy tells PEOPLE of his time waiting out the argument with dance partner Laila Ali and fellow Dancing stars Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson. "It was a straight-up brawl."

Chmerkovskiy says the guests had been warned by View staffers that the show could get "intense" – and it quickly did. "At first everyone was sort of laughing, [like,] 'See, I told you it gets intense.' Then it was like, Okay maybe it's one of those very intense ones. But people were still giggling. But then it became a fight between Rosie and Elisabeth."

What made it particularly shocking? "It was like a domestic dispute, like relatives fighting. We came to their house and we were witnessing something a little embarrassing. It was really uncomfortable."

At the commercial break, Chmerkovskiy recalls stone-faced View staffers running out of the room to deal with the fallout. Actress Alicia Silverstone, who was also in the greenroom, was not happy that her segment was next: "She was like, 'I don't want to go on now.' She had one of those hyperventilating moments where she was like, 'Okay, I'm really nervous.' "

But the show went on, and Chmerkovskiy and Ali performed their dance without incident. "It was like nothing had happened," he says. "I thought great, this must be a normal day at The View."

Andy Roddick Photoshopped on Men's Fitness

And here we thought it was just women on the cover of magazines that were photoshopped here and there ... a thinning of the thighs here, a removal of a blemish there. Apparently the men are not exempt from such practices, as tennis star Andy Roddick soon found out.

"Little did I know I have 22-inch guns and a disappearing birthmark on my right arm," Roddick, 24, wrote on his blog after he got a look at this month's issue of Men's Fitness magazine. The cover shot features Roddick with a body that had been artificially bulked up.

"I saw the cover for the first time when I landed in Rome. It was pretty funny. Maybe [fellow tennis star] Rafael Nadal wants his arms back?"

Representatives for Men's Fitness told the New York Post that the cover image did feature an enhancement of Roddick's arms, but was not a Photoshopped image with Roddick's head on a different body. Yeah, because that makes it so much better? Puh-leeze.

Justin Timberlake Launches Own Record Label

Is there nothing the "SexyBack" singer can't do? Clothing designer, singer, dancer, boyfriend to the stars. Justin Timberlake has recently announced that he plans to launch his own record label, Tennman Records, where he will sit as chairman and CEO. The new label will be a joint venture with Interscope Records.

For now, Justin's records won't be released under Tennman, but he will be hand-picking the artists who will be part of the new label.

"We are all excited about the talent we have to offer already on our roster, and I cannot wait to introduce the world to my new discoveries," said Justin in a recent statement.

"Whenever you have the opportunity to get into business with someone as gifted as Justin Timberlake, you take it," Interscope boss Jimmy Iovine said. "We are thrilled to have his label as part of Interscope."

Ken Komisar, the former A&R VP of Sony BMG Music Entertainment, has signed on as the president of Tennman Records.

"I am thrilled with the potential of this opportunity that combines the amazing creative talents of Justin Timberlake, along with the vision and passion of Jimmy Iovine and Interscope Records," Komisar said. "We are already underway with several artists in development, and look forward to sharing their work with music fans everywhere."

A Simple Life Premieres with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie

I checked out of A Simple Life a good two seasons ago, but there must still be people watching it, because on Monday night, it was back for its fifth season on E!. This time it is set in the Malibu Mountains at Camp Shawnee. Paris and Nicole become camp counselors and try to wrangle campers of all ages.

TV Guide: Have either of you ever been to camp before?
Paris Hilton: I went to camp for one day and I hated it.

TV Guide: How did you prepare for this edition of Simple Life?
Paris: We didn't. We just went in as how we are — two best friends. All the adventures we go on on the show are things we've never done before. It was neat to get to experience that.

TV Guide: With the five different theme camps, did either of you excel in any activity, over the other one?
Paris: We didn't really think about it, we just did it.

TV Guide: But in pageant camp, did you, like, teach the campers runway secrets?
Nicole Richie: They actually taught us. This one 5-year-old knew way more about makeup and hair and everything than I did. But I taught them how to give the finger.

TV Guide: How did that go over?
Nicole: Not that well.

TV Guide: What were the age ranges of the campers?
Nicole: From 5 to 50.
Paris: Oh, older than that. There was a 70-year-old couple.

TV Guide: Did you learn anything from the assorted experts?
Nicole: Yeah. The experts really knew what they were doing. In Survival Camp, [former Green Beret Myke Hawke] sliced his finger open, he'd had stitches and they'd come undone. I'm a huge Grey's Anatomy fan so I was like, "Oh, can I redo your stitches?" He let me do them.

TV Guide: Did you learn that during your plastic-surgery rotation on the season where you were interns?
Nicole: Oh, I didn't even think about that.

TV Guide: Did you learn anything new about each other during the camp situations?
Nicole: I don't think there's anything else to learn, we've known each other for so long. We've taken trips together since we were babies.
Paris: We know everything about each other.
Nicole: It was great just to catch up on lost time and be together and have that time away from Los Angeles and everything, and be alone.

TV Guide: Did they have any restrictions on what you could bring with you?
Nicole: No. There weren't really any rules.
Paris: They wanted us to wear uniforms, but we said, "There's no way.... "

TV Guide: What unexpected things happened at camp?
Nicole: I didn't expect anything, actually. I was so surprised just because I'd never been to camp before.
Paris: Plus, every camp was so different.

TV Guide: Did you get care packages from home?
Nicole: No, but I totally should have thought of requesting that!

TV Guide: Did you send postcards to anyone?
Paris and Nicole: No.

TV Guide: Was there arts and crafts? Swimming?
Nicole: Yeah.

TV Guide: Did you play any pranks?
Nicole: Yes! We can't tell you [details], you have to see, but they're really great. I really took it to the next level.

TV Guide: Can you at least say what props you used in your prank?
Nicole: Yeah — a chainsaw.

TV Guide: Did you have to sing camp songs?
Paris: Sometimes. They had one camp song that we didn't really like.

TV Guide: What kind of camp food did you have? S'mores?
Paris: We had s'mores.
Nicole: And we had worms. Live ones!

TV Guide: Is there anything you did for the first time at camp that you'd like to do again?
Nicole: We got lost in the woods. We were just looking around and we got lost. We finally got cell reception and called a helicopter to come and get us. They couldn't land, so they sent down two little strings and attached them onto us and we were hanging onto the helicopter, dangling in the air. It was a lot of fun actually. I want to do that again.

TV Guide: I've interviewed you both in the past and know you're not keen on working out. Did that put you at a disadvantage, camp-wise?
Nicole: No, there weren't a lot of physical things to do.

TV Guide: Of all the campers you worked with, who touched you the most?
Paris: There was this one couple who'd been together since they were in their teens and they were so in love. It was so sweet to see them together. And the little girls were really sweet.

TV Guide: What were the highlights of the experience?
Paris: One of the highlights came during drama camp. They had people come in from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and the Jackie Chan movies who do stunts. I got to be attached to a harness 200 feet up and jump down and kick all these karate moves. People were, like, flying in the air. It was really fun to do that.

TV Guide: Any lowlights?
Nicole: Our living situation wasn't that great. We stayed in cabins and it was freezing. It was always uncomfortable. We had to walk outside to go to the bathroom. Little things like that. It's funny, because you don't appreciate them, but they're really important.

TV Guide: What scenario would you like to put yourselves in next season?
Paris: I'd like to go skydiving.
Nicole: We literally just wrapped [filming] two days ago. We're so, like, "Uh!" from this season right now that we really need to, like, take a minute to see.

Jordin Sparks Enjoys Being An American Idol

Fresh from being crowned American Idol last week, 17-year-old Jordin Sparks grabbed a roast beef sandwich and sat down with TV Guide to talk about the whole experience, and what her first album is going to be like.

TV Guide: Was that the first chance you've had to eat all day?
Jordin Sparks: Yeah, pretty much. I'm so hungry. It's been so crazy today.

TV Guide: How did you spend the day?
Jordin: Rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing. We had to rehearse our group numbers, and we had to do a run-through of the entire show to make sure everything would work out. So that's basically all I did. That's all I had time to do.

TV Guide: Did your mom and dad give you a pep talk before the show tonight?
Jordin: Did they...? [Jordin looks over at her mom, who is now finishing the sandwich Jordin was noshing on moments before.]Jordin's mom: Before the show?
Jordin: She just hugged me and said she loved me.
Jordin's mom: Jordin gets in her "zone" where you can't really talk to her before she performs.
Jordin: Mom! [Laughs] I do not! Not true!
Jordin's mom: I didn't mean that in a bad way. But she's all focus. We said we loved you.
Jordin: That's all I really need, just to know that they're there for me. That just makes everything better. It kind of alleviates the pressure a little bit.

TV Guide: I know you must've been sent a lot of good-luck flowers and gifts. Who were the most surprising ones from?
Jordin: Well, I got a lot of flowers. My fans sent me tons of flowers. I got some from Blake Shelton, who is one of my favorite country artists. I got some from Martina McBride. She told me I did a great job with Broken Wing last night, and I was reading the card like, "What the heck?!" I just love her. Badgley Mischka, who dressed me, sent me flowers. And Jennifer Hudson sent me some. She said, "A great journey well deserved. Love, Jennifer." It was so cute. I was like, "Wait! Am I reading that right? An Oscar winner knows who I am?" It was the weirdest thing.

TV Guide: Speaking of Badgley Mischka, how many different gowns did they give you?
Jordin: Four. Wait, five. Five. Can you believe it?!

TV Guide: Do you get to keep all of them?
Jordin: Yes. It's crazy! I asked them how much they cost, and then I was like, "Wait. No. I don't wanna know." The bad thing is, I can never wear them again because everyone's already seen me in them. I guess they'll just hang in my closet. Isn't that sad?

TV Guide: It seemed like after the ballads last night, you were a sure thing. Did you expect to win tonight?
Jordin: Blake and I are just two totally different performers. He went out and did his own thing, and I came out and did my own thing, so it was anybody's game. I had no idea what was going to happen. When we were standing up there [waiting to hear who'd won], we were holding hands and he was just like, "I love you, sweetheart." And I was like, "I love you, too." He squeezed my hand and I realized that, no matter what happened, everything was going to be OK. And it turned out really great! [Laughs] But I would've been happy with whatever happened. I'm just even happier right now.

TV Guide: You've said that when you turned 16, you cared more about being able to audition for American Idol than driving a car.
Jordin: Pretty much, yeah. [Laughs] And I can't believe that I won the whole thing. What the heck?!

TV Guide: What was going through your head when Ryan actually announced your name?
Jordin: It was just like, "Seriously?!" And then: "OK, what are the words to the song? What are the words to the song?" He handed me the mike and I was like, uhhhhh. And then the words just came out. I don't know how they did. They just did. It was just so cool. And seeing everybody there — my family was all bawling their eyes out — and my brother and my uncles. And Paula [Abdul], she was crying, too. She's just so sweet. She's been so supportive. Randy [Jackson] and Simon [Cowell] both came up to me later and were like, "Congratulations. You deserved it." And I was like, "Thank you. Why couldn't you have said that on the show?!" [Laughs] The night has just been so cool. I just can't believe this. I don't think it's really hit me yet.

TV Guide: So what kind of album can we expect to hear from Jordin Sparks?
Jordin: Well, I love all different types of music so I would love to infuse a lot of that into my album. Like I love country, I love R&B, I love pop, I love soul, and I love rock. So I would love to put that all together. Kelly Clarkson kind of did that, with a whole lot of different genres all on her album, and I think that would be really cool. And I want to sing about things that matter to me, things that touch me. Hopefully, I'll be able to write a little bit on it, too. I'm going to try, and see what happens!

Cover Girl: Mandy Moore on Self Magazine

SELF: Is singing more personal to you than acting?
Mandy Moore: I think singing is more personal because it's totally vulnerable and you're totally putting yourself out there. I also feel that it is more rewarding. I love what I do and when you love what you do, you don't even give yourself the option of saying, "Maybe this won't work and maybe I'll fail somehow."

SELF: What do you think people's perception of you is?
Moore: I think musically, people think of me as the underdog. I understand why they think that because when I first came out, it was at the same time as Britney, Christina and Jessica Simpson, and I was kind of like the third or fourth wheel, just sort of tacked on there because I was the youngest. I understand that. I hope that people out there will respect the fact that I've grown and am a different person now with different musical taste. I hope the people who didn't like my music then will give me a chance.

SELF: Are you a person who tends to hold emotions in?
Moore: Well, I used to, but I've gotten much better about that. I am a totally open book with people I love and trust. I talk about anything with them, but there is that certain side of me that will contain how I feel about stuff. I'll only put stuff out there so far, and then I'll wrap it up in this little box, put it over there, and then digest and deal with it after I've had time to figure out how I really feel.

SELF: And when you have all these movies [Moore has three movies being released in 2007], you don't really have a lot of free time.
Moore: Yeah, it's been a little crazy and I know that there are definitely some things that I'm going to have to hunker down with later and go, "OK, let me really think about how I feel about this."

SELF: What are those things?
Moore: You know, just personal things. Actually none of it is relationship-related, they are more personal things that are going on in my own world. I am really feeling like a woman for the first time. I have come into my own and have spent a lot of time reflecting and working on myself for the past couple of months and am continuing to do so. I just want to make sure that I'm still in control and very much a part of all the decisions that are being made in life. I guess I'm just really realizing the power that you actually have. So I really need to figure out how I feel about everything and about myself in the scheme of things.

SELF: Are you overly self critical?
Moore: I think I can be. I try to stay with the positive, but sometimes I feel like my self-criticism pushes me to do and be my best. I am my own harshest critic, but I've always been that way, even as a kid. I don't think it's completely out of control. I have come to terms with the idea that it's never going to be good enough, and that's OK. If I'm looking at a picture, listening back to a tape of a song or watching a film, it's just like, "Ugh, eew, I don't like the way I look, I don't like the way I sound." Nothing is really ever good enough for me, but I've come to terms with that. I'm not going to be happy 100 percent of the time.

SELF: Do you give yourself pep talks?
Moore: The only time I do is before I go onstage to perform. I just tell myself, "Mandy, this is what you love to do and this is what you're lucky enough to do with your life. Just go out there and have fun, because that's what it is." I think back to being a kid and doing local community theater. I loved it. When I go onstage now, I just keep trying to find and capture that feeling again. There's just nothing better.

SELF: You've said that this was a pivotal year. What was the fulcrum?
Moore: I had a lot of time to be alone and in my own head, which I don't have very often. I used to shy away from that. And now if I don't have time, especially in the morning, I start to get really anxious. I wake up early so that I have an hour and a half or two hours before I have to be somewhere and do something. I have really come to appreciate my me-time.

SELF: So for the first time you faced yourself and...?
Moore: It was scary! I was scared to be alone. But then it was like, let's jump into this life thing. I'm still sort of figuring out how I want everything to work. Every facet of who I am—as myself, as a friend, as a daughter, a girlfriend, a business associate, a recording artist—I have to take each one at a time and figure out how that definition of me has now changed and therefore how I want my relationship with the people involved in that part of my life to now be.

SELF: You have said in the past that you want to leave Hollywood by age 40. Is that true?
Moore: I don't know why I ever said that. It was really silly of me. To put a limit on anything sounds ridiculous to me at this point. I want to do it as long as I want to do it.

SELF: There's no goal, like "I have arrived, I will be complete, if...?"
Moore: No, because once you realize the finish line, then it's time to just pack it in and go home because there really shouldn't be a finish line.

SELF: Are you ready to date again?
Moore: I'm not looking. If someone finds me, I'm more than open to it. I would love to have some new people in my life. Not necessarily in a romantic sense, but I am currently accepting applications for friends!

Cover Girl: Rebecca Romijn on Marie Claire

Actress/model Rebecca Romijn is on the cover of the newest issue of Marie Claire magazine, talking about her role on Ugly Betty and life with Jerry O'Connell.

On accepting the controversial role of Alexis:
"I don't know--it felt perfect for me. The only thing that made me nervous was that I have a couple friends who are transgender, and it's a really sensitive subject, obviously, so every choice that I make, I think about them. I would never, ever, ever want to insult or offend. But I want to make everybody aware that I am not the unofficial spokesperson for the transgender community."

On playing a woman, who was a man:
"I've had a lot of people ask, 'How does it feel to be a man?' My response is, I'm not playing a man. I'm playing a woman, and Alexis loves being a woman. And so do I! And she's very girly. And so am I! But she's also really lonely. That's where we're different."

On one of her favorite things to do with fiancé, Jerry O'Connell:
"[A tandem bike] is honestly great couples therapy. There's all sorts of trust issues that are happening when you're the one in the back--you can't steer, you can't brake, and you can't see ahead of you; all you can do is pedal. The first couple of times, he was doing dumb boy stuff—he was going off little jumps, and I was like, 'You know what? If you make this scary, I will not do these rides with you.'"

Tom Brady - Who Are You Kidding?

New England Patrios quarterback is on the cover of the June/July issue of Details magazine, talking about his first child arriving this Summer. "It's going to be a challenge," the 29-year-old says in Details. "I guess that late at night, I'm not so much scared as thinking of it as a huge unknown."

Honestly. Who is he kidding? First, this is the first time he has publicly acknowledged that he is even having a child. Secondly, the baby is with his former girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan. They split back in December, so exactly who much diaper duty does he really think he's going to have?

"I want to prepare for it the way I do everything else in my life," he says in the interview. "I make lists. I make plans. But being a father is different. I think that people go into it and find out, holy s---, I have no control."

Since breaking up with Bridget, Tom has been dating model Gisele Bündchen. "I'm attracted to women who are smart and funny and ambitious and have lives of their own and great families. Isn't that what attracts anyone?" he says. "People want to go out and travel around and meet cool people. I could just go live in Vermont, but is that what I really want?"

Britney Spears Speaks

Popstar Britney Spears recently updated her website with a letter to her fans. It really sounds like she could use someone in her corner. To me, the last line was most troubling ... "Only God knows. I can't wait to meet him!" I worry about a 25-year-old mom of two saying she can't wait to meet God.

Dear Fans,
I just wanted to reach out to all of you and explain some of the things that I have been faced with recently.

It's so funny how many stories are put out there about people. It's like we all want our side of the story out there as well, but at the end of the day only a few people care to hear what is really going on since the bad is always so much more interesting than the truth. I don't know why, but this is so weird to me. I used to be angry at the tabloids for printing horrible things about me, but now I try to just be numb to what I see. I saw Tyra Banks once get really upset and cry on her show because they made her look fat. We all want a certain image of ourselves out there, and at some point we all do really care what other people think or we wouldn't be here.

Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression. I was like a bad kid running around with ADD. I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce. I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn't know who to go to. I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost.
This letter is to not place blame on anyone, although I do see the world with a completely different set of eyes now. Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me. I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life. You never know another persons intentions or what another person wants. I feel I was too open and looking for answers when I had it all to begin with. I have had to cut so many people out of my life. It is so sad, because if anyone is a family person...it is me. When I was little I remember every night watching movies with my family and feeling so at peace. Dancing and singing all the time just like a little girl should. Now recently I find with my children that I want them to have that feeling all of the time. I am having to face a lot of things right now since I have children of my own. A lot of insecurities from when I was little are coming up again. It is like we are never good enough.

I know everyone thinks that I am playing the victim, but I am not and I hate what is going on right now so much. Maybe this is the reason for this letter...to maybe allow people to look at me differently. It is like when you are a real woman and say what you feel and how you think things are supposed to be, that people just say you are a "bitch."

I feel like some of the people in my life made more of some issues than was necessary. I also feel like they knew I was beginning to use my brain for a change and cut some ties, so they wanted to be in more control of my life than me. I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce. I think it was a bigger issue because I had not gone out in such a long time. I am 25 and I do still have a lot to learn, and I am going to make mistakes everyday, and I am sure every mistake I make will probably be on CNN or Good Morning America. I am only human people and I love you for still loving me.

I am sitting here at home and it is 6:25 and both of my sons are asleep. I am truly blessed to have them in my life. Everyday is so surreal. Life in general is so surreal and crazy.

I just hope this letter made some of you think a little bit more of me and where I am coming from. I just want the same things in life that you want...and that is to be happy. It is just so weird because everyone has their own perception of me and how they think I really am. It is so weird how stories are told. There is your side, my side, and the truth. Somebody has to figure it out. I guess we will never really understand or figure out life completely. That's God's job. I can't wait to meet him...or her.

Rosie O'Donnell Abruptly Leaves The View

Honestly, the maturity of people never cease to amaze me. On Wednesday, Rosie O'Donnell got in another political dust-up with The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Rosie had a scheduled day off yesterday to celebrate her partner's birthday, but in a statement issued today, has decided that she has had enough of The View and will not be finishing out the remaining three weeks of her contract.

"We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave," Brian Frons, president of ABC Daytime, said in a statement. "Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to The View and wish her well."

The show's co-host and executive producer, Barbara Walters, said in the statement: "I brought Rosie to the show. Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at The View. I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."

Said O'Donnell: "I'm extremely grateful. It's been an amazing year and I love all three women."

So You Think You Can Dance Premiers

One of my favorite summer reality shows premiered last night, So You Think You Can Dance. Although it's not Maks TV, it should fill the gap nicely for now. The folks at TV Guide magazine sat down with the hostess with the mostest, Cat Deeley, to get the skinny on what we can expect this season.

TVGuide.com: Hi, Cat. We're all excited for So You Think You Can Dance to return. Should we expect anything different this season?
Cat Deeley: Basically, it's everything you know and love, but bigger and better. I think people really understand the show now, they understand the concept, they understand the level of talent that's required, and they understand that the tricks have got to be more spectacular, even more outlandish. The characters have got to be even bigger and quicker to come to the surface. I think people now understand that there's no point in finally showing your personality Week 4; it has to be out there and people have to see it warts and all. Quite often that's what makes America fall in love with these dancers. It's the trials and tribulations that someone goes through, as much as the happy, jokey stuff, that people are attracted to. That's something we can all relate to, whether we're dancers or not.

TVGuide.com: Are there any returning dancers who didn't make it last season?
Deeley: Well, you might want to sit down for this: "Sex" [aka last year's most delusional wannabe from New York] is back. You might want to have a cold shower on standby for afterwards.

TVGuide.com: Did the producers call him up and ask him to return?
Deeley: No! It didn't take any persuasion for either him or his mother. There have been a couple of other people who've come back, and some have even made it through. I can't tell you any more than that. It's very interesting.

TVGuide.com: Are we going to see some tear-jerking stories?
Deeley: I think you will. There was one lady who was so incredible and such a lovely woman. She had been in a horrendous accident in Israel — it was on the news. There was a wedding and the whole floor dropped and fell through three floors to the parking structure. I think she was in a coma for months and months. They had to rebuild her face. This is the thing about dancers: They can dance through any injury that would make us cry in pain. They somehow just manage to pick themselves up off the floor and get on with it.

TVGuide.com: Generally speaking, dancers are not like actors, and are not the most verbally expressive people. What do you do to bring out their personality for the camera?
Deeley: You're absolutely right. The other thing is that normally dancers are part of an ensemble, they're team players, not the star. That's what's really interesting about this show — it's their chance to step into the spotlight and shine.

TVGuide.com: Do you have a trick to make them talk?
Deeley: Not really, just to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Above and beyond anybody else, I am completely and utterly on their side. Basically because I can see just how talented they are and just how much effort goes into it, and I'm not a dancer myself, so to me, whatever they do is spectacular, whereas a choreographer might go to them and say, "Well, your lines weren't quite even and... " blah-blah-blah.

TVGuide.com: Are you seeing any new trends in the people trying out?
Deeley: There are more breakers this year. They've learned that you have to do different styles, so you have to go take a class in ballroom or contemporary. Just a class, so they can get through the choreography. If you haven't had that technical training, it's very difficult to get through that 15-minute dance class and be able to perform the routine at the end.

TVGuide.com: You keep saying you're a terrible dancer, but you have to have picked up something while hosting this show.
Deeley: This is a bit of a sore point. Every once in a while, I'll mention to Shane Sparks, "Oh, I'd really love to do something." And then the subject just gets changed and never brought up again. So maybe I'm beyond help. I'm not entirely sure.

TVGuide.com: They've all seen you dance?
Deeley: If you want to call it "dancing." You can, if you're just trying to be polite. I do a bit of a shoulder shimmy. But you know, somebody's got to make the dancers look good. I could spin on my head if I wanted to....

TVGuide.com: At least you are surely becoming a more educated observer of dance. Are you able to guess what the judges will say about some of the performances?
Deeley: Sometimes, a little bit. Or because I know the backstory. Maybe one week, a breaker has struggled to learn the fox trot, I'll be looking out for whether they've improved. But it's interesting, you can tell the people who have star quality, too. That "x" factor, or charisma or whatever that thing is, you can tell it just from them walking on the stage. And you cross your fingers and go, "God, I hope you can dance brilliantly, too." It's like last year, Travis [Wall] and Benji [Schwimmer] were our final two, and Travis was an amazing dancer and had a great personality, and Benji was a great dancer but had an amazing personality. It was the personality that won at the end of the day.

TVGuide.com: Especially since it is a popularity contest.
Deeley: It is "America's Favorite Dancer," not the best dancer, not the best technical performer.
TVGuide.com: Neither Benji nor Season 1 winner Nick Lazzarini has taken the complete prize. [Nick declined a year of rent-free living in New York City, and Benji didn't take the contract with Celine Dion's Las Vegas show.] Are they going to offer something more enticing this year?
Deeley: It hasn't been announced yet. But I know it's bigger.

TVGuide.com: Have you kept up with what some of last year's dancers are doing?
Deeley: I know some have been auditioning for movies. Benji was in the Christina Aguilera video. Natalie [Foutopoulis] was out choreographing SYTYCD in Greece. They've been doing great stuff.

TVGuide.com: How about getting a girl to win this time?
Deeley: Well, that could very well happen. We actually have a girl breaker this time, too. It's about time, I think.

TVGuide.com: I'm saving my best question for last: What are you going to do to top last year's wardrobe?
Deeley: A-ha! Put it this way: I have a black skirt that's entirely made of feathers. It's kind of wild.

TVGuide.com: You have to dance in that!
Deeley: Even if I just did Swan Lake. I love the fact that people watch and go, "What is she wearing this week?!" It's part of the show now. I'm in the process of putting together outfits as we speak.

TVGuide.com: I think the dancers' costume designers have their job cut out for them to keep up with you.
Deeley: That's the thing. If I went out there in jeans and a vest, and I stood next to someone doing a salsa or a paso doble, I'd just look ridiculous. They're all there in their sparkly outfits, with flowers in their hair and all the rest of it. A girl's got to put up a bit of a show to stand next to these kids!

Rewind: Dancing with the Stars Finale

I'll miss you, Maks! At least he made it all the way to the end. Sigh. How much longer till we get to see sparkles and see through shirts (and that's just on the men)? It was an eventful week, full of outstanding performances. Wouldn't you agree this was the best finale ever? I'd say so.

The freestyle performances were a fun way to end the show. I was convinced it was down to Joey and Apolo after Laila and Maks pretty much failed to impress during their freestyle (and you know it pains me to say that). Apolo ended up winning and I think it was definitely well deserved after the progress he made and the performances he gave.

'NSYNC fans go two little hellos during Joey's performances. If it was a ploy for votes, it worked on me. In the cha-cha, we got the marionettes from No Strings attached (I couldn't help but think that the ruffles weren't doing Joey any favors, by the way). In the freestyle, we got the little stomping/lasso move from the choreography to It's Gonna Be Me. I know, I have issues. I think their freestyle was the best DWTS performance I have ever seen.

Maks and Laila Free Style - Yes! The Kid n' Play! Thank you, Laila, for ripping Maks' shirt off (twice). I didn't know I had been waiting for it all season until it actually happened.

After watching this week's shows, Annie is convinced there's a little something something going on between Apolo and Juilianne. There was some "almost kissing" and petting moments during their performances and she did recently call off her engagement. I think I'm going to have to keep my eyes on those two.

Rewind: The Bachelor, Officer and a Gentleman, After the Final Rose

I had a tough choice on Tuesday night. I mean, a really really tough choice. The Veronica Mars finale, the American Idol sort of finale, and The Bachelor: After the Final Rose were all on at the same time. What's a girl to do? Well, I have not been as emotionally invested in AI this year, so it got the ATFR commercial time while Veronica Mars was being recorded on the other tuner. Thank God for TiVo.

I'm glad After the Final Rose got priority because it was a treat. Waaay more interesting than in the past and I think it was because Andy told both women he loved them, so he had some 'splaining to do.

The show began with some great news about previous Bachelor couples. Byron and Mary currently own a lakeside resort in Texas and are planning a Fall wedding. Charlie and Sarah, despite all rumors to the contrary, are living together in LA. And the sweethearts of The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, Trista and Ryan are still married and Trista is6 months pregnant.

Amber spoke first. She said she felt mislead by Andy (not compared to Bevin!) and was convinced she'd be part of the final 3. But, she was brave and said she had no regrets. I have to say that her repetitive remarks about being mature made her seem immature.

I also learned that Bevin and I are so on the same page. I remember thinking that they were going to be into each other during the pool scene on the first group date. Bevin says that was first time she knew there was a connection between them. She said there "a sparkle in his eye and undeniable chemistry." It's really hard being right all the time.

Oddly enough, Bevin says she knew Andy didn't pick her when she got in the limo and was on her way to go see him. She had an intuition that Andy picked Tessa and when she said "I can't believe this is happening" on the way there that was what she was talking about.

Andy came out and a succession of awkward moments followed. He said there's a reason Bevin made it to the final two, that she's a fantastic woman, and that who ever ends up with her is a lucky man.

Bevin was very classy, thanking Andy for a wonderful experience, and telling him that she will never forget the time they spent together. Bevin didn't regret the experience because Andy taught her how to take a risk. so all the hurt was worth it in the end. I almost got choked up! Well, until Andy told her she would always have a piece of her heart and they stared awkwardly at each other for a couple seconds too long. He put his hand on her knee. I thought they might start making out.

Andy told Bevin that his decision was made when Tessa really opened up on their last date. That simply made him feel stronger towards her. Then he finally opened up and started cracking some jokes. This show was turning into a major downer, so I was proud of Andy!

Tessa joined Andy (and Bevin was shuffled off to a dark corner somewhere) and they both got all teary eyed when watching their proposal again. Tessa says (I'm still skeptical) that she'll be moving to Hawaii in a few months. They don't have a wedding date yet, but they are optimistic. Tessa said the beginning of their relationship was so fast, so they thought they'd slow down for a bit. Good thinking, girl!

It was nice to hear a couple say that their time together since the show ended has been getting better and better. You don't hear that as often as you hear that it was really tough for them. I'm hoping that's a good sign?

We also finally got the answer to the dog tag mystery. Andy and Tessa made the dog tags at the Air and Space Museum during their hometown visit to Washington DC. Made them during hometown visit to dc to the air and space museum. He made hers and it says T-Bone, Don't Mess with Tess. She meekly admitted that his said Bach-man, Sizzling Hot.

My overall impression from the After the Final Rose show? Andy and Tessa are just adorable dorks. And for that reason, they seem just perfect for each other. We wish them all the best and will keep an eye out for any Andy and Tessa updates!

Gilmore Girls Movie in the Works?

Yup, looks like it just may be a very distinct possiblity, and the folks at TV Guide have the scoop:

Question: If you get Amy Sherman-Palladino to spill the final four words she had in mind for Gilmore Girls, you might actually be earning your salary.—

Mike Ausiello: Bite me.

Question: So, what gives? There is no way you could still be at Fox's upfront party. Did you track down AS-P, and, if so, what were the final four words she had in mind for Gilmore Girls?— Katrina

Ausiello: OK, here's the deal: Yes, I tracked her down, but, no, she did not cough up those elusive four words. But wait — there's more. And it's good. No, amazing. No, un-frakkin'-believable. Amazing, even. Wait, did I say that already? Well, it's true. Because just as I was about to brand her a big ol' promise-breaker right there in front of all those industry types, Amy explained why she couldn't divulge her long-ago-planned Gilmore ending.

(Gilmore fanatics: This is the time in Sprockets when you either lean on a heavy object or just sit down.) In the next year or two, she hopes to make — wait for it — a two-hour Gilmore Girls TV-movie that ties up all those loose threads! I nearly fell over when she said it — especially given what she told me back in December. (BTW, lest you think Amy was pulling my leg, her partner in life and in showbiz, Dan Palladino, confirmed that a GG reunion pic is something they're interested in pursuing.)

And I wasn't the only one floored by this development. "She said what?" gasped Scott Patterson after I relayed the information to him over the phone. "I didn't think she would be interested in doing something like that. But if she says she is, I would seriously consider it."

Alexis Bledel was equally stunned. "A Gilmore Girls reunion?" she said with a laugh. "That's certainly not something I had thought of doing. That's really funny, I have no idea how I would feel in a few years. I don't know, I'm sure the script Amy would write would be great, but I guess I'd have to read it and see how I felt at the time."

Last but not least, Lauren Graham e-mailed me late last night to say, "Could be a fun idea if everyone wanted to do it. I would do it just to get the four final words out of Amy. They torture me."

Mary-Kate Olsen Working?!

I know, I know. I'm as shocked as you are. Mostly when we see Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, it's in oversized ratty clothes, toting a Starbucks latte, or in the front row of fashion shows. But yes, I kid you not. One of them is actually going back to work. 'Course they can obviously afford not to work, but don't they get bored?

Mary-Kate Olsen is going to be costarring on Showtime's Weeds this season, playing Tara, a Christian girl who is the love interest of Nancy's son, Silas. Mary-Kate will appear in 10 of the 15 episodes.

Weeds creator Jenji Kohan tells the Hollywood Reporter that Olsen was "absolutely charming" at her read-through, "and seemed like a great fit. Audiences have seen only one side of Mary-Kate, but here we'll see her in a whole new light."

Jordin Sparks Closes Out American Idol

Tivos all across the country cut off recording at the most pivotal part of American Idol last night ... missing when Jordin was announced and sang "This Is My Now" as the newest American Idol. Here's most of what you missed:

Jordin Sparks Takes American Idol Crown

The loveable 17-year-old who was counting down the time until she was old enough to audition for American Idol, took home the grand prize last night, and she was so deserving of it. People magazine caught her for a few minutes to get the low-down on what she's going through now, and what the future holds.

What was going through your mind right before Ryan announced that you won?
I was standing up there and Blake was holding my hand and he was like, "I love you, sweetheart." I was like, "I love you too." He squeezed my hand and I knew whatever happened I'd be okay and everything would be fine. He's such a great supporter and so encouraging of me. I'm one of his biggest fans and he's one of mine. It turned out pretty cool, I guess!

You became very emotional during your last song, 'This Is My Now.' What were you feeling then?
It was a mix of a lot of things. I can't believe that it's over. It seems like years ago that I auditioned in Seattle, but at the same time it's gone by so fast. It was a mix of everything was ending and I don't know – the song is just so amazing. I looked up at all the people and I saw my parents sitting there and I realized that what I said I wanted to do a long time ago, I was doing it. And it just totally overcame me.

Did you know you had such fan support going into the finals?
I've been in a bubble, so I didn't. When I went home I got so much support there, but that was my home state. I had no idea what everybody else was thinking. I love the love, what can I say?

Are you ready to record your first album?
I might be getting some material during the [Idols Live] tour and then I guess right after I'll start working on that.

Will you write your own songs?
I would love to write. I've written a couple of songs but I don't know if they'll go on the album. But I've written and I hope I can write a little bit on my album.

Now that you've won and have a singing career ahead of you, how does college factor in?
I haven't graduated [high school] yet. I'm only a junior. I'm still working on it. During this whole process I've been doing at least three hours a day because that's what I'm required to do and it's been really cool. It's kept everything pretty normal. I'll do my school and then I'll go sing; I'll do my school and then I'll go get fitted in amazing dresses. It's so crazy. I would love to go to college one day, but I'm kind of just thinking about the now. But education is important and I'm still getting it. I actually get out of school tomorrow!

Do you have a favorite performance?
I have no idea. I loved each and every performance that I did. There were some that I liked more than others. I think that I tried to top myself every performance. I liked them all. I don't regret anything.

Did you speak with Simon after tonight's show?
He was like, "Congratulations, Jordin. You deserved it." And I was like, "Thank you." And he gave me a hug and it was like, "Oh my God! Simon Cowell is hugging me!"

You had so many costume changes. Describe your personal style and what complements you best.
I think corset-y tops fit. Baby doll tees like this are better because it's very flattering on the side. It was so crazy doing all the costume changes. I've never done that in all my life. I'm learning more and more about myself as this goes on because now I have to look good! So now I'm like, "Okay, so the stylists are helping me out." Badgley Mischka designed those gorgeous dresses that you saw. They designed the reveal gown. It's so beautiful. It was one of a kind. I think I get to keep them all!

What part of this process has prepared you most for your career?
You know when you see celebrites and the paparazzi follow them? That actually happened to us a couple of weeks ago. We had three cars following us and it was so crazy. And I was like, "What have I gotten myself into?" But I think it's prepared me because I think I've become a better person and a better performer throughout all this – like interacting with fans and being able to convey my emotions better. Thank you to everybody who kept me around!

How do your parents feel?
I've been watching the show since I was 12 and I've always wanted to do it and I've always told my mom every year at the finale or during the show, "I want to do that, Mom. That's what I want to do. I want to be able to sing on that stage and whether I win or not, I want to be there." And now I'm actually doing it. I know she's proud of me and I know my dad is and my brother. And we're just going to take it one step at a time.

So It Is Andy and Tessa 4Ever!

Well, I hate to admit when Annie is right, but she did call it. On the season finale of the Bachelor, Andy dumped Bevin and proposed to Tessa. So, when did you figure out who he would pick? For me, it was when Bevin came home with Andy. Between the libido research, the Baha'i faith and the discussion about how he was really attracted to her and wondered if it was long-term, poor Bevin's fate was sealed.

Now, with Tessa on the other hand, things were light-hearted and fun. Her parents live 20 minutes away from Andy's, she was Catholic, and she was brutally honest when questioned about her behavior throughout the show. After that visit to PA, I thought all Tessa had to do was seal the deal with a big honest discussion with Andy on their last date and she'd be marching down the aisle. And when she did do exactly that in Hawaii, all the suspense was gone for me.

• I think we had another first in Bachelor history on this show. The Bachelor told both women that he loved them. Now, the Bachelor is usually all coy with the women, saying things like "I wish I could open up to you, but I just can't." I always thought the producers wanted to keep it mysterious. Seems like they just let Andy say whatever he wanted this season, with a great payoff - a real love story.
• You could also tell Tessa was the one when you compared the two "I love you" scenes. Now, maybe it was just editing, I'll grant that. But it sure seemed like Bevin tells Andy she loves him. Then Andy hugs her and hugs her. She says it again. He finally whispers it in response. With Tessa, she said it, then he responded right back and said it like 3 more times. Game over, Tessa wins.
• I also don't think I've ever seen a Bachelorette castoff be completely silent. Bevin just looked stunned and had little or nothing to say to Andy during her dumping. And the poor girl's hair kept blowing in her face. Sigh. I felt bad for her, but really, Andy seems to have more in common with Tessa. With Bevin, it seemed like a fire that could easily fizzle. For once, the Bachelor was smart enough to figure that out and picked the right girl!
• Why, why, why are they wearing those dog tags! Good Lord, ABC. Help us out here!
• The proposal with Tessa seemed very sincere, didn't you think? And they seemed so cute and giddy right afterwards. We'll have to see what kind of vibe we get during tonight's After the Final Rose show.

So here's my theory. ABC has ditched the After the Final Rose show in the past when it was so obvious the couple wasn't going to make it, either because of the way the show went or the time apart was too tough on them and they broke up. Does this last minute announcement of an After the Final Rose show mean that Andy and Tessa are really going to make it? After 10 seasons, you'd think I would have given up hope!

The pictures in GQ are surprisingly risque for her, as she is famous for saying that she will not wear dresses/skirts cut above her knee, out of respect for herself and her family. Cover Girl: Jessica Alba on In Style Magazine

Movie actress Jessica Alba hits the cover of the June issue of In Style magazine and dishes a little on love, gossip, and her famous curves. A few choice quotes:

"People think of me as just a sexy girl, but I'm really goofy – like, super goofy."

"I had womanly curves at a young age," she says. "Usually kid actors are a few years older than the roles they play. I was two or three years younger."

"I love challenging authority. It probably wasn't easy being my parents. The second somebody says no to me is the second I'm going to jump up and say yes."

"I'm not the easiest person to hang with," she says. "I'm away a lot, and it's an unconventional life. But if I could find a partner, that would be best. I probably won't have kids without one." (A surprising quote considering she's been dating Cash Warren for quite awhile now).

Though Alba is still dating Cash, she admits to a crush on former Tennessee congressman Harold Ford Jr. "He is so cute, he's adorable, and he's single," she says. "I went to one of his fund-raisers."

"My parents taught me about unconditional love, because you have your ups and downs, but you stick through it. I learned a lot from that, and I know that kind of love is possible. ... My parents made a forever commitment, and I know that's what I want."

Cover Girls: Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie on Harper's Bazaar

The reality show stars and reunited best friends grace the cover of the June issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine with their dogs (of course!). Inside, they talk about their falling out last year:

There was no reason why we were fighting; it was just silly," says Paris. "It made me sadder than any breakup with a boyfriend. It was the worst feeling ever."

Well, probably heading off to jail in a few weeks might feel a little worse...

Q&A with The Bahelor

Madison will be along here soon with her wrap-up on last night's finale episode of The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman. Although I haven't seen the episode yet, I heard who won, and all I gotta say is, "I called it." So there.

In the recent issue of TV Guide, Andy Baldwin sat down for a few quick questions before he gave out the final rose ... and the ring.

Were you skeptical of how some other Bachelor relationships ended?
I'm not a prince and I'm not a Firestone heir. You know, [the show] has been successful [too]. Trista and Ryan are having a baby and Byron and Mary are getting married. I thought if you went in with the right attitude, anything is possible.

Can you confirm if you're engaged? I am.

Have you set a date? No, not yet.

Were you pressured at all to propose?
As things got deeper emotionally, I felt the potential for bigger and better things. To make a commitment and to propose was the right thing to do.

You've been separated from the woman you love since the end of filming...
We do talk a lot. It's been important for us to be able to lean on each other during this time [since the taping ended]. Especially her, because she hasn't been able to voice her joy and affection. We [don't] talk too much about the show. We talk about our future.

And have you talked about her becoming a military spouse?
The strength and the courage and the understanding that it takes to be a military spouse is something that shouldn't be taken lightly. She very much understands the sacrifice that goes into being a military spouse and that was a question I asked [of almost] all the women, especially coming down to the end: Were they prepared to move to Hawaii and be married to a military officers [who] could be deployed at any time?

All You Could Ever Want to Know About Pirate Master

The Glitter and Gossip Office has a weekly reality tv show addiction support group meeting and the topic of new shows comes up quite often. This week, we're excited about Pirate Master. We've discussed it here before, but now those smart little devils set up a Pirate Master Wiki. That Mark Burnett, what will he think of next?

They have all the stuff us addicts need to fill our unsatisfiable need for information. You can read about the history the show is based on, watch a preview, meet the host, and meet the cast. Once the show starts, you'll be able to root for a winner and criticize the losers in the forums.

I know I should have used Arrrgghhh! at least once in this post, but I just couldn't work up the energy. The show premieres Thursday, May 31, 2007, at 8 PM on CBS.

Actress and former arm candy of Derek Jeter and Justin Timberlake, actress Jessica Biel's next stop is the June cover of Elle magazine. You can also catch her next month at the movie theater in her newest role, opposite Adam Sandler and Kevin James in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. When the tabloids started spotting Biel with Justin Timberlake in January shortly after his breakup with Cameron Diaz—the two were seen snowboarding together in Park City, Utah, during the Sundance Film Festival; sharing a glass of champagne at Prince's Golden Globes party; and backstage at Timberlake's concert in San Diego—her personal life suddenly became of great interest to the public. She dodges a probe about her relationship with Timberlake while knocking back shrimp tempura with aplomb, saying that she was in Park City with girlfriends and holding meetings for her production company, Iron Ocean Films. Nor does she want to discuss her past relationships with actors Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans, or Yankee star Derek Jeter, "for no other reason than I can't even go to the dry cleaner by myself anymore," she says. "You're seen in public with anybody that you might not even know, and you're speculated about."

Asked if the constant attention makes dating hard, she says, "It makes everything hard because you can't even go to pick up a prescription without somebody trying to snap a photo of what you have in your Longs Drugs bag. Thank goodness I'm a nice person," she says. "Thank you, Mom, for teaching me that."

Cover Girl: Bijou Phillips on Stuff Magazine

Bijou Phillips latest work can be seen in the upcoming movie Hostel: Part II. Unfortunately, the model/musician/actress had a few harsh words for the people she encountered while filming the movie in the Czech Republic. Here's her recent interview for the June issue of Stuff magazine.

STUFF: You got to shoot Hostel: Part II in the Czech Republic. How was that?
BIJOU: The people in the Czech Republic are fucking assholes. Every person from every country that’s gone to the Czech Republic thinks the people there are assholes.

Don’t hold back! What about them is asshole-ish? I was smoking at the time, and smoking is allowed everywhere, and I went into this T-shirt shop. This guy was like, “Hey, get the fuck outta here with that!” I was like, “Dude, if you don’t want me to smoke in here, there’s a better way to go about it.” He was like, “Fuck you, I don’t care, you bullshit American…blah blah blah blah.” I was just like, “Fuck you, you fucking piece of shit!”

So, we guess you’re still pretty riled up about the whole thing.
Everyone working on the movie was getting mad at me, like, “Look, they’ve been very oppressed. They were communist. They’ve had a hard life.” I just screamed, “No!” I recently finished shooting a movie in Bulgaria, and those people were ruled by the Turks for 500 years, and then they were under the thumb of Russia until 1989. So, look, there was communism there, and they’re not all a bunch of assholes.

Aside from the asshole Czechs, how was shooting the movie?
Sometimes it would get a little dark. I think everyone’s got their own bag of shit to bring to the party, and whenever you work with actors, you’re dealing with people who are a little different. It takes a lot to do this job. When I was a little kid, and my sisters Chynna or MacKenzie would be working, I always looked at it as this glamorous thing where they got to be princesses all day. I grew up to realize that it really takes a lot out of you, and you have to confront a lot about yourself and about what you’re willing to do when it comes to being vulnerable in front of people that you don’t know.

So being tortured wasn’t pleasant for you, then?
It was horrible, because up until that point, we had been making a comedy. Basically, the movie is about three girls who are enjoying a semester abroad. Then they get led to and trapped in the hostel, where they are tortured. I had to go into such a horrible place mentally to shoot those scenes. Every day for a week, I would go into the room, be strapped down, and I’d have to scream and cry—with tears pouring out of my eyes—all day long. You go into some really primal places. I found that the majority of the time we were filming those scenes, all I was thinking was, I want my mom.

Yikes.
After Eli would yell, “Cut!” for lunch or something, it would sometimes take me 20 minutes to stop crying.

How do you get back to normal?
I love mountain biking—it really clears my head. When I got back to the States, I went to my favorite place to ride, which is up Park City Mountain in Utah. I bike along this one ledge where there’s just a little track and a sheer drop. So I’m going, like, 20 miles an hour—full speed—over rocks and bumps. I could easily die.

And this relaxes you?
I do it because I’m crazy, and I love it. I get the biggest rush out of it.

Both Hostel movies involve a certain amount of seduction. Murder aside, do girls have any tricks we don’t know about for seducing guys?
Well, there’s this one trick—I’m not supposed to talk about it—that all women have decided never ever to tell a man. But now I’ll tell it: Women wear special bras that make their tits look bigger than they really are.

What?! Really?
Yes. It’s called the Wonderbra. So, guys, don’t ever get fooled again. When she takes it off, there’s not gonna be much there. Now you know.

Are you worried feminist groups will get all up in arms about women getting tortured in this flick?
No, because I think it’s good to show that this kind of thing could happen. People need to be a little more aware.

So Hostel: Part II is really just a big PSA?
Exactly. They should play it in schools. I think it should be mandatory viewing for all children. Seven-year-olds, 8-year-olds—they need to know this kind of stuff. I think parents, if they really care about their kids, will take them to see this movie. “The more you know,” right?
