Brit Not Happy

Last night, soon-to-be-single Britney Spears made a surprise appearance at the American Music Awards. Apparently, she wasn't especially thrilled by the Jimmy Kimmel skit that made fun of her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

"Britney was blindsided and upset," says a source close to her. "Some people from (her Jive Records) label were with her, and they were pissed. They asked that it not be shown on the (West Coast) feed." (That request was ignored.)

In the short skit, American Music Awards' host Jimmy Kimmel packed a fake K-Fed into a box and tossed him into the ocean, calling him "the world's first ever no-hit wonder."

Just a few minutes later, Britney presented an award to Mary J. Blige.

So goes it.
