Madonna's Special Bombed

The much-hyped Madonna special that aired on the night before Thanksgiving was a ratings dud, E! Online reports.

The special, entitled Madonna: The Confessions Tour - Live from London, was watched by only 4.6 million viewers. The special sparked controversy because the network decided to cut out Madonna's infamous crucifixion scene.

The special landed in the auspicious 78th place for that night.
