Aaron Carter Needs to Chill

The last time we heard about pop singer Aaron Carter's romantic exploits, it was when he proposed to Kari Ann Peniche, in September, a girlfriend he had for just a few days. Although she accepted, the engagement was called off six days later.

Well, it turns out he's fallen in love ... hard ... again. The 19-year-old was celebrating his birthday on Friday night at Shag in Hollywood with 18-year-old Kaci Brown.

"Now I'm in a great relationship. I've only known her for, like, seven days, but I have a connection with her that's like nothing else I've ever experienced," he told People magazine. "It's really amazing."

Kaci, who is a good friend of Aaron's twin sister Angel, started seeing Aaron last week when he was in Miami.

"Love shouldn't be about jealousy or anything like that. It should be about commitment and being able to trust that person. If you can't have that from the get-go, there's a problem. When it comes to relationships, I think I'm pretty experienced – you'd be surprised." Ha. He's even already met the parents, and his sister, said Aaron, is encouraging the relationsip. "She wanted us to go to Vegas and get hitched!"

Aaron's brother, Nick, is from the popular 90s boy band, Backstreet Boys. Both brothers and the rest of their siblings are appearing in the reality show, House of Carters.
