America's Next Top Model Runner-Up Melrose Gets a Job
Actress Michelle Rodriguez (from Lost fame) has hired the America's Next Top Model runner-up, Melrose Bickerstaff, to design for her clothing line, Ishkidada.
As Melrose recently told Celebrity Week,
Melrose actually went to school for fashion design and has won awards for her designs before, so this isn't completely out of left field. The line is set to debut in the Fall of 2007/Spring of 2008

As Melrose recently told Celebrity Week,
"I've been working with an amazing clothing company called Ishkadada ... It's going to premiere in Spring of '08 and I'm doing their women's line ... They are fusing new fabrics and new technology into their clothing and into innovative designs and versatility … my friend Dara Young who used to design for Betsy Johnson, it's her company and I couldn't have met a better person. She is business partners with Michelle Rodriguez (of Lost)... before I went on the show I was ... doing it all myself right now I get to focus on what I do best which is design and sketch and drape.
