Nelly Furtado to Try Acting

Singer Nelly Furtado is trying out her acting chops with a cameo appearance on the popular, long-running soap opera, One Life to Live. On the episode she tapes, she will sing two of her hit singles "Promiscuous" and "Say It Right" and does a little acting as well. She told InTouch magazine, "I've always watched soaps growing up, so this has been a great adventure. It was so much fun and everyone was welcoming. I've been taking acting classes. This was my third speaking part, so I'm a lot more confident now. Film is definitely a possibility."

Her episode will air on February 23rd. She also back at work with her music as well, laying down the licks for her first Spanish-language album, which will be released next year.
