Tori Spelling, a Multitasking Queen
So besides being *** months pregnant and running a new bed & breakfast for a new reality series with Oxygen network, Tori Spelling is going to add to her work load.
She has just signed a deal with Simon & Schuster to write her autobiography. Of course, being that she's only 33, one might be surprised at this, might given the bank account is not what it used to be, she might as well strike while the iron is hot. She told USA today that she will do the work when "the baby is napping" (she's due in the Spring) and will probably use a ghostwriter as well.
She hasn't told her family about the book yet, but given the news is coming out, coming clean might be a good idea. USA Today reports that she was going to tell her brother Randy, 28, over the weekend. "I certainly hope that (the book) doesn't cause more damage," says Tori. "Randy's kind of caught in the middle because he has a very close relationship with my mother and a very close relationship with me. He tries to stay neutral, and I admire him for that.
As for her strained relationship with her mother Candy Spelling, Tori says: "I wish things were different. My mother and I have always had a difficult relationship. There has always been love, and I don't doubt now that there's love."
In the book, she'll cover plastic surgery ("I basically want to lay it out in my terms"), prior relationships ("I want to clear up that I was never in a physically abusive relationship, but verbal abuse is just as detrimental"), and what she really got from her father's estate, and how she was treated.
On her money situation, she said, "You have to take everything with a grain of salt. I'm not ashamed to admit that circumstances have changed, and you work with things the best you can. It's important for me to tell people about the struggles. I found that money can't buy love, and (Dean and I) can get through anything."
