Rewind: American Idol

It's a bit early to start recap posts about American Idol, but I just had to mention two interesting tidbits from last night's show. First, that back-up singer who auditioned? Her name is Melinda Doolittle. Goose bumps, people. Thank God for TiVo because I watched her entire audition three times. I think she's going far. Real far. If she can get past her confidence issues, I think she will be phe-nomenal. Reality TV Magazine did some investigating about Melinda, which you can read here.

And second, remember that guy named Sundance with the super-bluesy voice and the uber-beard? When he talked about his Dad (a former singing sensation, Roy Head) being quite the dancer, it sorta went over my head. Well, thanks to Popwatch, it was all explained when I saw this:
