Scott Stapp Welcomes a Daughter!

People reports that "former Creed frontman Scott Stapp and his wife, Jaclyn, welcomed their first child together on Thursday," named Milán Hayat Stapp. She was born in Miami and weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz. According to Stapp's rep: "Milan has been chosen from Scott's Cherokee heritage for its definition, which is 'to have the creativity of God.' Hayat is from Jaclyn's Jordanian upbringing and is simply 'to give life.'"

Stapp and his wife were married in February 2006. His wife was Miss New York in 2004. Keep an eye out for a song about his new daughter on his upcoming new solo album.
