It's Official: Brad and Angelina Adopting Another Child
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in the process of adopting a child from Vietnam. A US adoption agency representing Angelina filed papers at Vietnam's International Adoption Agency, and this has been confirmed by the agency's director, Vu Duc Long, today. Angelina applied to adopt as a single parent.
"She just filed the papers this week," Long said.
You may remember that the couple visited Vietnam last Thanksgiving, and spent time at the Tam Binh orphanage while they were there.
The couple plans to adopt a little boy around 3 or 4 years old, which will mean a nice playmate for Maddox, 5. This will be their 4th child.
Angelina told CNN's Anderson Cooper last summer, "Next, we'll adopt. We don't know [from] which country. It's gonna be the balance of what would be best for Mad and for Z right now. It's, you know, another boy, another girl, which country, which race would fit in best with the kids."
