Britney Spears Doing a Mini House of Blues Tour
I heard this on the radio over the weekend, and now that I've seen it in print, it's official.
The M+Ms band is scheduled to play at the House of Blues in San Diego tomorrow. According to New Music Express, The M+Ms' are suspected to include Britney Spears, who has been hard at work on mounting her comeback. The M+Ms are also scheduled to play two other shows this week (Anaheim and Hollywood).
Club owner, Ivan Kane, said that Britney was originally supposed to play a short set at the Forty Deuce nightclub in Los Angeles last Wednesday. She was to "sing three songs with four backup dancers during intermission of the sexy Forty Deuce [burlesque] show. They ran through the set several times, the choreography was smokin' and she sounded great," Kane says. He went on to say that the set was scrapped at the last minute because "her management decided it wasn't the right time."
These upcoming shows are the latest sign that Britney is working on getting her career back on track. Good for her.
