After a year-and-a-half whirlwind romance, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes made it official at Odescalchi Castle in the small Italian city of Bracciano. The couple had officially married in Los Angeles days before their European nuptials, but that didn't dampen the day's romantic spirit. The 150 star-studded guests, including J.Lo and Marc Anthony, Brooke Shields and Jim Carrey, watched Katie and Tom say "I do," decked out in Armani. The 20-minute ceremony ended with a "never-ending kiss" that prompted some of the smiling guests to shout: "Stop, stop!" Guests dined on a four-course gourmet Italian meal and partied until the early morning. "Katie looked like a princess," a guest tells OK!. "It was a fairy-tale wedding."

The sultry singer is struggling to be happy
It's been a year since Jessica Simpson's split from ex-husband Nick Lachey, and the 26-year-old doesn't seem to be reveling in her singledom. She's been avoiding the party scene. According to several reports, it's because the singer is depressed over her current life status. Her latest album didn't make much of a dent on the pop scene, and her love life has stalled. Jessica also doesn't have a lot of close friends. The short list includes her wardrobe and hair stylists Jessica Paster and Ken Paves, her sister Ashlee and her pet pooch Daisy. "Nothing is lifting her spirits," a source tells OK!...

It seems like everyone in Hollywood is getting a divorce. Some couples are getting through the process more amicably than others. Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have managed to maintain cordial through the dissolution of their seven-year marriage. Unfortunately for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline and Paul McCartney and Heather Mills, the road of separation has not been so rosy.

The single lady is ready for love
Desperate Housewives' Teri Hatcher knows it isn't easy to find love. "I'm in the same position as every other 41-year-old single mother looking for a relationship," says the twice-divorced mom to daughter Emerson, 9" "You're going to meet predators and players and generally have a hard time finding the good guys who are out there because they're scared to ask you out in the first place." But Teri hasn't given up on the notion of finding true love. "I'm not giving up hope, though. I really believe that I'm going to find a great man," she says.
