Don't Date Lou Diamond Phillips

TMZ reports that actor Lou Diamond Phillips pled no contest to charges that he beat up his girlfriend. The plea comes after an arrest on August 11, 2006, when police were called to his home around 2:00 am and found Phillips in "a heated argument" with his girlfriend.

Phillips' sentence includes one year of domestic violence counseling, 200 hours of community service and three years probation.
