CariDee Wins America's Next Top Model

There is justice in the world. My evidence? CariDee won America's Next Top Model and Melrose lost America's Next Top Model, Cycle 7. See? I told you so. The finale of America's Next Top Model was great, if a bit rushed. I always complain about two hour finales, but now that I have finally seen a one-hour finale, I sorta get it.

E! Online gives us some little known CariDee facts. She is 21 years old, a photographer and from Fargo, North Dakota (okay, maybe we knew that last one). During the finale episode, CariDee kept mentioning having a skin disease when she was younger, which made her think she could never be a model. Turns out the skin disease was psoriasis.

There was no tension when they decided the top two - it was so obvious Eugena was heading home. She was just unable to show any emotion. Not so good for a model. I was worried Melrose would win when she did so well at the runway show and CariDee sucked, but CariDee's saving grace was her beautiful Cover Girl ad shot (pictured above) and her carefree and spontaneous manner (which Twiggy said made her a loose canon).

I particularly like how CariDee responded to the news that she was the winner: "I'm America's Next Top Model, baby, yeah!"
