Filmmaker Gus Van Sant - Not Having a Good Day
Gus Van Sant, 54, is not going to have a good holiday. The filmmaker was arrested early this morning in Portland for DUI.
Reports indicate that Van Sant's breath test registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.19 percent, more than twice the legal state limit.
He was driving without his headlights on, and when he was pulled over, he had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, smelled of alcohol and failed the field sobriety test. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...
Van Sant is perhaps best known for directing movies "My Own Private Idaho," "Drugstore Cowboy," "Good Will Hunting" and "Finding Forrester."
He is currently working in filming "Paranoid Park" in the Portland area.
