James Brown Dies

The passing of anyone is always sad, but particularly more so when it's over the holidays. Soul singer James Brown, 73, died this morning in Georgia after being admitted to the hospital yesterday for severe pneumonia.

Brown is known for producing such top singles as "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag," "I Got You (I Feel Good)," and "Get Up (I Feel Like Being a Sex Machine)."

Brown is survived by his fourth wife Tomi Rae, and six children from his various marriages.
