Tell Us How You Really Feel, Michael Bolton
Crooner Michael Bolton talked to the London Sun recently about planning his wedding to Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan."I'm not sure if I'd like something like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding or not. A castle is a pretty bold statement. And we've got to think about whether we want 5000 of our closest friends there with us. Getting married is the biggest decision you're ever going to make with your life. However, when you've lived a little bit, like Nicollette and I have, you realize that the building where the actual ceremony is going to take place is probably the least important element of the whole day. When you agree to get married, the enormous statement is that you want to spend the rest of your life with that person."
Alrighty then. Well, ignoring his swipes at Tom Cruise and Katie Cruise (and where the heck did that come from anyway?), if he read Glitter and Gossip, he'd know that their wedding only had 150 guests ... a far cry from 5,000. Get your facts straight, Michael.

Chill out, honey. Getting married in a castle was overdone, and just showing off, in my opinion.
Mr. Cruise is on his 3rd marriage, and marrying someone young enough to be his daughter. Making a spectacle of it was really stupid.
Sure it was a little over the top, but Michael Bolton doesn't need to make those little digs, does he? Live and let live, ya know?
FYI: Michael's comment: "...thinking about having "5000 of our closest friends there with us", wasn't made in reference to TomKat's nuptials.
When Michael was interviewed on Showbiz Tonight back in July, the co-host, AJ, jokingly asked Michael if he was going to have 5000 guests at his wedding to Nicollette.
That's why Michael made the comment. He's made this comment more than once since the Showbiz Tonight interview, and before TomKat's wedding.
Good to know, Anon. Gotta love it when the media splices things together to make tension that's not there -- geesh.
