Smart Move, ABC
You know, it's not often that I feel like hugging a major network executive, but I certainly feel that way today. E! Online reports that when Lost returns from hiatus in February, ABC will switch it's time slot so that it won't be in direct competition with American Idol. I have a TiVo, so I'd be fine, but the rest of you would be screwed if that happened.
Beginning on February 7, Lost will air on Wednesdays at 10 p.m., instead of it's usual 9. This means it will go up against shows it can beat the crap out of, including Medium and CSI: NY. The suits must have realized that there might have been a connection between the premiere of Idol and a loss of 6 million viewers on the same night.
